The first "bug" doesn't look like a bug but poor design. The grudge accumulation problem could be fixed by making it that to reach 100%, one only has to fulfill part of all the grudges that have been listed down.
i dont think that bug 1 is a bug, but rather poorly thought out consequences of design.
I love how the start of this video isn’t about bugs, it’s about explaining Dwarf racism in Warhammer.
I guess we start with Gelt, then. Malakai after.
Despite these minor issues this is still one of the best race reworks CA has ever released
Personally I've twice now had a bug in which at turn 50, multiple Legendary Grudges abort for, no reason I can figure. Most recently, it was Karak Zorn's Scorn, The Elgi Oathbreaker (which was VERY annoying as I was specifically trying to do that one to see what the unique lord is about.) Karak Eight Peaks and The Forest Elgi. No reason given, none of the factions involved died off screen or anything like that, just the second turn 50 hit, they all aborted at once.
What CA not thinking about gameplay past turn 30 in their campaigns. Color me shocked. Mid to late campaign gameplay is arguably a bigger issue than siege battles in this game.
Incredible explanation. Amazing. Thanks.
so basically if it was designed better there would be no issue
Do military or defensive ally actions provide settled grudges to the dwarfs? For example, my buddy plays dwarfs and I play empire and we have a military alliance. If I attack a common enemy does that settle those grudges for the dwarf or do they just disappear?
Just finished my Malakai campaign, definitely experienced the uncovered map bug. I was only able to reach gnollengrom at the very beginning, after that I considered it a victory if I could end the age of reckoning at a positive. Not unplayable, it just expects you to be unusually aggressive as far as dwarfs go.
Maybe linking it to the ammout of settelments you have could fix the grudge problem: like there could be a cap and every settelment adds to that cap for the next round of grudges, perhaps also having lords and heroes could also add to that.
I have a bug where my game crash after turn 4 of campaign of any dwarf faction campaign, what could be the reason?
I am excited as someone who loves Kislev as Malakai will really shake thing up. Maybe I can actually go a campaign without being declared war on and swarmed by 6 different chaos factions by turn 25. Maybe.
Ah so thats why its so frustrating to deal with. I kind of just ignore the grudge system since it became impossible to get many of the targets later on…
Do you know when they are supposed to try to patch it? Like before the release or in the next patch, thanks.
Kinda realized the new slayer lord looks like you. Any correlations in between?
Wait did they change the terrain of Norsca to be primarily frozen instead of chaos wastes??? At
maybe the grudge system should be tied to your faction power or wealth for each age of reckoning. As you grow, then the expectations from your dwarven-kin also grow.
CA has acknolwedged and posted how they are intending to fix them on the hotfix patch notes. Sounds like it will be at least a few weeks though - tempted to not pickup a Dwarf campaign until they do change them
