I tried playing Nurgle once and personally wasn't a fan of the growth cycle his peoples buildings have. Empire is real fun to just amass a doomstack of riflemen and cannons and turn the fields of Warhammer III into the Napoleonic Wars

Engineers are a much needed addition. Regarding the upkeep costs, they've reworked a lot of the upkeep and tiers of units on the build I'm playing on currently.
I just bought Total Warhammer III, and specifically Warhammer I for cheap alongside it because the Empire and Dwarfs seem worth the investment after this patch. And for the first time in quite a long time, I'm actually interested in all the content coming in. That said, I'm not getting the DLC until the reviews start to roll in.
The Elector Counts rework is very welcome. It pretty much changes it from babysitting a bunch of toddlers to actually managing an empire. Though the Dwarfs are easily my favorite with the rework of the Great Book of Grudges, the Age of Reckoning, the moving of units from one tier to another(Dwarf Warriors now being a settlement and not a barracks unit is a notable positive), and all the new Slayer units and heroes all being so amazing. The Ancestor Gods really blessed us here.

Even though I don't own WH3, I have to say these changes are phenomenal. Old mechanics are being reworked, Karl got a significant buff with that military access and replenishment in neutral territory. Absolutely needed change after doing my legendary Empire game, not being able to attack someone without casuing an incident with another count and leaving them be was a massive issue I had when playing. Balty also getting a new location is a very welcomed suprise, I'd say most people are more than used to at this point with him being stationed in the southern bit of the Empire, but this change feel like the right one.
