Pat Pete was 1 of the most exciting punt returners ever. That rookie year of returning was phenomenal
You could also put the ravens Jacoby Jone's half time TD vs the 49ers in the Super Bowl. The Ravens would only add one FG for the rest of the game, and that return was the difference maker, as SF came storming back but fell just shy because of that return.

On the Dante Hall return vs the Ravens in 03, the Ravens had an offside penalty on the kickoff where they tackled Hall for little gain. The Chiefs made the Ravens re-kick, then Hall produced that amazing return

nah he knew 😂 Coughlin told him kick it out of bounds.. cuz after D Jax scored, he went directly over to the punter and said "what did i tell you to do" , you could read his lips .. he told him to kick it out of bounds im sure, he just didn't listen.. which is why he got cut the next day 😂 imma Eagles fan, I've seen that clip hundreds of times

Ahh yes, the Jackson punt return capped off the miracle at the meadowlands 2. Eagles clinched a division title next week when the giants lost and even though their records matches, eagles swept the giants during that season. The team who the giants beat that next week after that eagles game (packers) allowed them to also clinch the 6th seed when they also beat their rival bears next week in week 17. Meaning that the giants lost the opportunity to clinch a wild card berth as well. And then the eagles and packers squared off in the wild card round that year. They beat the eagles there as they did week 1, and eventually won the Super Bowl.

Chiefs were on here a couple time. But how was Dante's 93 yard return against the Broncos not on here from 2003? That was one of the most electrifying returns in NFL history. And even though it happened with 8:46 to go. It put the Chiefs up 1. 24-23. And that was the final score. So "technically" that was the game winner🤣🤣

Was the 1st returner flagged for taunting? That was classless the way he ran parallel to the goal line before crossing in.
For one, taunting requires that you are targeting a specific player or somebody on the other team (pointing/gesturing toward them). Secondly, he was trying to make sure there were 0’s on the clock so that it was the last play, it wasn’t meant as a celebration. 3rd, “the 1st returner” has a name, it’s Desean Jackson put some respect on him

DeSean was flagged for taunting just a week or two prior for stopping at the goal line and falling backwards into the Dallas end zone. So yeah, he was known for that kinda thing.
