  • Many topics covered in the verse by verse study. What does "led by the Spirit" mean? How can I test to see if I'm saved? What motivates you to follow Jesus? Is the religion/relationship dichotomy valid? What is the doctrine of Adoption?

I was passing through a town in Kansas that I had never been in before, when GOD told me to go knock on the door of a house across the street. I immediately went and knocked on the door. THEN, it hit me..."What am I doing here?" I started to leave, when the door began to open. I stood there, not having a CLUE what to say. A very elderly lady said, "Oh, thank you so much". I stood there, somewhat bewildered. She said, "My husband is bedridden, and I've been trying to turn him over, and I CAN'T, and I prayed, Dear God, Please send me someone to help me turn him over. I went in, turned him over, visited for a few minutes, prayed with them, and left. Believe whatever you want, that is absolutely TRUE! There have been numerous times that THAT kind of leading has happened, ALWAYS with similar Miraculous results! Do they happen ALL the time? NO! But they DO happen! If we have been Adopted, and GOD ...IS NOW... OUR FATHER, We DO have a RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, and HE DOES speak to us. He DWELLS IN us!

Mike I’m not trying to flatter you. I watch a lot of Christian content and sermons nearly every day and I have to say I think you are maybe the most talented bible teacher I’ve ever heard. I feel called out multiple times a lesson (which is hard) but I know it is beneficial for my walk with Christ but you season it with the love of the Lord. God bless you.

Mike, I am here to thank you. I am Catholic and I understand we have our differences in our beliefs. Nevertheless, listening to your preaching has been incredibly fruitful in my spiritual life and understanding of the Bible. God bless you

I love your teachings Mike. I just want to share a bit of my experience. My whole life I was rejected and came from a narcissistic family. I never knew the love of a father. I remember the night I became born again, the scales came off my eyes. I was loved by God just the way I am, that Jesus was my Lord and saviour. This concept was difficult for me to grasp for a long time before God showed me that I am loved. My husband then left me with 3 young children. My son has severe ADHD. I couldn't cope, I cried out to God, got counselling and wanted relief from my circumstances. Church failed me. No one understood. I felt so alone, so abandoned. I became severely depressed. I wanted to do what was right and not sin. I felt so unloved by God. When you are a new Christian and going through so many unbearable trials, it is hard to know that you are loved by God when all there is, is trial after horrible trial. I had no relief from my out of control son. One daughter ran away from home at 15, the other went to live with my mother then sister. My life was shattered, I was totally devastated and heartbroken. I thought God did not love me. I ended up falling away because I wanted to be loved and have a husband. I prayed for years for a husband. For 20 years I did my own thing. I still believed in God and I knew what was true. I eventually remarried and it is only of recent in the last year that something wonderful has happened to me. God has shown me himself in a new way. He has renewed me and I can say that I do love him, I want to serve him. Its only through Gods grace over the 20 years that he sustained me. My point of saying this is that for some people it is to hard to believe that you are loved no matter the circumstances that you are going through. My only example was my narcissistic family and the rejection and be good or your rejected. I knew I was forgiven by the blood of Jesus however I couldn't grasp the love of God fully. So being renewed isnt the same journey for everyone. Without a doubt I can now trust God no matter my circumstances. And I am still going through a lot in my life, however a change has happened in me where I will trust him no matter what. Mike so some people are so damaged by there earthly experience of a father or family, it just doesn't instantly happen that you trust God. My journey of believing started when I was a child, Im 61and its taken this long.

Oh I was praying to our wonderful Heavenly Father last night about wanting to learn more about walking in the spirit, being led by the spirit. Not even 24 hours later and this teaching pops up. 😭🙏🏼💕

One of the greatest things that enriched my relationship with God was through writing and keeping a prayer journal. The journal includes gratitude, prayer, etc. But I can look back and read how far God has brought me and how our relationship has grown.

"Christianity is not just doctrine. It's living it out.". This is so true. I believe that's what we would call having faith. If a person says they believe but do not act on that belief the bible says their faith is dead.

When I have done something good for someone else, I never felt like I was being led at the time. It felt natural. It is only when I look back at it that I see God at work for putting me in that situation

I've been moved to tears by this lesson. What a great reminder of who we are in Jesus, and of who our Father is and the relationship we have with Him! "Abba Father"! The explanation of the word, "Abba" moved me to tears. Thank you!
