Give me a month or so and could probably get this somewhat up to tempo. Double tonguing has always been my nemesis, I've only recently gotten better at it since playing the Arutunian
I've always been bad at double tonguing, so decided to try and learn The Green Hornet. Can just about play it through at a close enough tempo (still messy). Doube tonguing has improved a hell of a lot would recommend

Honestly not as bad as I might have expected. It took me many months in my prime to learn the variations of Carnival of Venice to a passable level. This by comparison is quite tame since the runs are slurred instead of tongued.
It should have gone up an octave like it does in the song. They took it down but like... the actual song isn't down an octave. Advocating for trumpet high note rights

I have found my people
Same lmao
I have officially learned and memorized it-!
respect for the people who can play this with their cyborg-tuninged lungs
Alan Vizzutti could do it
Waiting for a wooosh
@@Cornsyrupisgood r/woosh 👌
This is more playable than you think
the lung power isn't an issue, the issue is tonguing that fast

Yo please post it if you ever do play it, that’d be so cool :D

@Tamed That would be awesome.
I know nothing about trumpet and the phrase double tounging frightens me

Hi all! If you're interested in the official sheet music, check it out here: sheetmusicboss.gumroad.com/l/wtlrx
Thanks for enjoying our stuff!
Playing on trumpet would be so hard
We should hear a whole ensemble of different instruments playing this in a concert or colab; that would be amazing.
YESSSSS I WANNA TRY THIS
SAME HERE BESTIE 😎👊
*same but I'm terrified*
Advance R.I.P
Do it.
Your lungs are going to die.

I'm concerned because we played that for our concert and the trumpets had trouble with it-
@Julian Flores ye, I’ve been playing trumpet for about 3 years now and it seems very easy!
Dont worry, I've been playing 12 years and I'm just like: :o
That's some intense double toungue-ing
I respect people who can tounge this fast
Then you respect no one

Thats what i was thinking lol
Concert e
Yeah its just transposed.
It's concert E because trumpet is a Bb instrument
All the F naturals in this score should be E sharps.
E sharp and F are enharmonics of each other, they are the same note.
@@awesomerandomness3307 They are enharmonic but in this instance you should use an E sharp.

Yo, that actually got me. 😂😂
I couldn't help but to laugh at that joke, haha. And don't worry, this is real laughing, not fake.
0:55 is by far my favorite part cause it actually sounds possible and nice

you are a life saver!! thaks so much, I was searching for this so long!!
You know the clarinets are gonna steal this tho
tenor sax here 😎
I am because there is no Clarinet music for this 😭
Excuse me, but I see that this piece is starting with an f sharp rather than an E
(Yes I know about transposing but i still wanted to comment)
Excuse me, this starts with an A sharp?

Considering I play trumpet… HOW ARE THEY ALIVE! That’s very impressive if that was recorded, programmed not so much.
I think it was MuseScore
it’s a robot !!
Me who plays trumpet: I think I’ll try to play this
Me: * sees measure 43 *
Me:…..huh maybe not that part
Just think, this is gonna be in a DCI show in 10 years 😔💔….

Trumpet you say?….
*gets out clarinet*
For trumpet it's actually rush F#
It is because transposing concert e makes it a f# if you didn't know :)
trumpets transpose so it is a concert E
looks like a good warmup
I want a euphonium version of this
Those accidentals are driving me insane
As a clarinet player of 6 years I see this as a challenge and a way to impress the people who say band is gross YvY wish me luck I'm stubborn
Hahaha I was just thinking about doing this ! Thanks ! I’ll definitely try this out!
Perfection😩🙏
me reading the sheets: hey wait thats an F
me remembering that trumpets are pitched in B flat:
Me: Practices this song every day, wondering why my trumpet sounds funny
Me, 1 week later: Notices the double sharp key signature
Now i just need to say a trombonist Fanchen to say this is a mediocre piece and prove it by playing it flawlessly
And on his first sight read
"Don't worry, the sight reading is easy"
The sight reading:
whoever can actually play this is a god like bro what lungs you got.
My lips and
Lungs are hurting listening to this
W play trumpet as well so thank you so much I am going to practice this
if you want more from this guy he has an arrangement of im still standing for trumpet on musecore
hold my reed case- a clarinet who has way too much time over christmas break
Imma try to play this before school starts
bless your soul! this is perfect!
Time to actually start practicing my trumpet

YES! this is awesome
trumpet=best instrument
Agreed
I have seen many silly music things in my day, but this one is pretty high up there. HE REPLACED AN E FOR AN F.
Him: how are you so good at this?
You:
Thanks dude
Measures 1-42: yeah ok, this seems possible
_Measure 43: nah_
This is like tin tin game battle with Boss.
Me at the beginning: yeah with some practice I could probably play that
Me at the end: *nevermind*
Favorited, I will learn this eventually. Already got the first 10 measures down.
measure 43+ is gonna be alot harder though, so might just be the first 42 measures.
Don't know how "fun" this would be for me on trombone...
Judging by the tempo you would break your arms not like the fate would be different from if I did it
i need one for bass clarinet 😭 even though I’m gonna pass out even trying to play that sort of tempo😭
I don’t play the trumpet, but I’m going to try this one Octave higher on my Flute.
fellow flute player- you’ll need to transpose this down to play this in the correct key. good luck!

Man chill, I don’t think you know how eager trumpeters work. It’s hard enough to play that fast on a high E.
Brutal triple tonging
ima play this on clarinet
holy fucking shit I could never, mad props to whoever can do this lol
Godlike tongue and lungs
clarinet players be watching this
Note for the non musicians: the standard trumpet is tuned to the Bb below middle C. This is why it is “Rush F”
That's not a note for non musicians, that's moreso a note for non-band people. Most non-musicians would not be able to tell an E from an F :)
