Bro I've been telling my friend this for years. When the F4D came out we did some test dogfights against the F-14 and Draken and it actually was a very competent fighter. It's a beast of a dogfighter! (Yes you could just missile it out the sky or climb to space, but in a close range guns only dogfight, it puts in work)

ive fought it a few times in my F16a in customs and it destroys everything, unless you start the dogfight with a ton of speed or very low, you have almost no chance of beating it
its crap though if you turn, the wing rips if you roll the wing rips the gun is one of the sparkiest gun out there You need to literally baby the heck out of this plane its like the J2M4
the J2M4, any of the Raidens really, is a great aircraft though. I really flying em in sim and have a 4+ KD in it. Also the F4D got a buff to its FM recently, the wings dont rip that much anymore, in fact i couldnt get it to at all in test flights unless in high neg Gs while also applying full rudder, something youd pretty much never do in a dogfight. i highly recommend u to reassess your statement here, its just not true.
it used to rip very easily but they "fixed" the flight model and under 400 kt it does not rip unless you have landing flaps out and pull up and bank at the same time
@@user-lc5sr6mq4r imo the J2M4 at its BR is fighting F2G, which is just distasteful when it climbs better than J2M4 and cant even dive as fast as while F2G have the capability to out turn J2M4 after a dive

Idk what the author is but it’s some furry dude, it’s a pack with every top tier aircraft’s sounds for the cockpit with options for bitching Betty and aim9 launch sounds. Highly recommend, but the version that makes it so that when you play a specific aircraft, that aircraft’s irl sounds are automatically played is something only his patreon people can get. Still a good sound mod tho
