    Resisitance band provide a good but uniform distribution of tension over muscle fibres hence your stabliser muscles are not recruited in the movement so the over damage to the muscles will be lower compared to free weights.

    That's absolutely true, I used all 3 and resistance band is so effective and useful for daily and all kind of exercise
