Great bikes, the rear suspension was under rated. Back in the day I ordered a chain torque eliminator from ATK and put it on my 1987 Can-Am 560 sonic ,what a huge difference worked great.😎
I found them kinda weird with the mono shock on one side of the swing arm myself.. now I wish I had one due to where it's made 🇺🇸

The ATK brand is an awesome motorcycle company. They made simple to work on and maintain bikes and no BS. I wish the brand was still being made because they are great bikes. By the way Ken , the beard looks bad ass on you , you should keep it for a while.
Had that bike new in 92..Sure was a great bike at eating tires chains and front and back sprockets in no time. It was a ripper I loved it.

A riding buddy had one and let me try it out. The rear felt stiff with no linkage, but he said it worked great and the harder you hit bumps the better it worked. I always thought it was cool the way the air cleaner is in front and the simplicity of the air cooled motor.

Morning Kaplan from Wales, which as per previous comments, you will know as the land of the eternal enduro bog. Moving on, I watched both videos of the atk's and can't help but notice the number of other motor sickles in the background. To me, this suggests you've run out of storage space. As we know, moisture plus oxygen = corrosion and it pains me that these machines will rust badly. I therefore take it upon myself to offer a good home to them. Please kindly crate them up (3 or 4 to a crate will be enough) and ship them to my home address. There really is no need to thank me for my generosity. Thank you muchly 😊😊
The genius of ATK bikes was the creativity in design that differentiated them from all competitors. However, i could imagine how that also hurt them at the time. Plus, the expensive price due to the premium components probably excluded many potential customers. While this bike is sick, a stock Japanese bike is good enough for most people and much cheaper.

They were built well, and built to last with a 4130 chromoly steel frame. The only real weak point was the countershaft rear brake that overheated easily.
