+World Rugby Unreachable!!!
+World Rugby Thats what happen if u use steroids :(
+BuldoGG Jonah never used steroids. He was on dialysis for a kidney disease. You need to get your facts straight mate.
Growing up, the name Jonah Lomu was synonymous with rugby. Whenever we would speak about him we'd rave on for hours wishing to grow up to play like him one day. From a South African, I'm saddened by this news. So sudden, one of my heroes gone.
I'm primarily a football/soccer guy but despite that, when I was growing up in England, I watched a lot of rugby and Lomu was just one of those names that made you think of it when you heard his name. It's been such a long time since I've really watched the sport but this year's World Cup has really brought it back to me and has made me realise why I enjoyed watching this game so much as a kid and seeing clips of guys like Lomu, Jason Robinson, Wilkinson, O'Gara, Tuqiri brings the memories all flooding back. RIP to a legend
RIP Sir. The most unbeatable winger in the history of rugby.
love from Malaysia
Jonah's tries were ridiculous. You can't even get tries like that on the bloody playstation! No one could ever match him on sheer power and pace. It's like having the cheat codes on a real rugby match. All coaches with Jonah on their team would be like.. Okay team... Gameplan today is... Pass the ball to Jonah.
This comment reminds me of that one episode of fresh prince of bel air
During the 1995 World Cup, someone in New Zealand sent the All Blacks a message: "Remember that Rugby is a fifteen-man game, so all fourteen of you pass the ball to Jonah".
That’s a brilliant comment!👍👍
@@MarsFKA How did that work out in the Final. A great player for sure and I have immense respect for him RIP, but he never scored against the BOKs. He was the frequent beneficiary of inept tackling.
@@johnritchie4801 Not surprisingly, you are not the first to point that out.
RIP Jonah Lomu, the greatest player rugby has ever seen
+AB Wrestle That's nonsense. I follow and love both codes, and maybe (and that's a big maybe) Lomu wouldn't have made quite the defining change to RL as he did union but he'd still be remembered as one of the all-time greats.
+AB Wrestle At least 100 players that are better? What are you mental? He would have ripped it up MORE in league because of the amount of times he would get the ball, and the number of off-loads he could deliver. 100 players in league...HA, what a joke.
+linalmeemow it's league that's boring. So 1 dimensional all it is are players running at each other and it's also a lot more static. Put a league player in union and they don't have a clue as Benji Marshall and Sam Burges have proven.
+Tekkogs Steve But players like Jason Robinson, Kyle Eastmond, Sonny Bill and even Brad Thorn all show that if you give a player time to learn the traits they can become world class players. Put a Union player in League and watch them struggle with fitness for the first half of the season same argument.
***** Where have I said league is awesome??? I said I love both codes. I think you're getting mixed up here, son...
Most men couldn't even catch him. The few that could catch him, couldn't stop him
Lomu never scored against the Boks. Never !
Neville Lamberti And?
@@thewoodpecker7947 Lomu was overrated.
@@nevillelamberti true but he set up a lot of tries
And the rest ran away!
It's like watching Michael Jordan at his prime. There will never be another player more legendary to rugby.
Difference is Lomu has almost the same hight, plus 50kg, and is way faster than Jordan
Nah different league to Jordan
joliecide more like watching Lebron tbh in terms of sheer size and speed. Mj was average for basketball size
Dear god, why are you bickering over and comparing them on size as if they are playing the same sport or are the same type of athletes? The man is comparing Lomu and Jordan in their prime merely on the sheer anount of impact and decisiveness they had on games (in their own sport) and in that he is extremely spot on. It would be same if we talking football and me saying "Watching Jonah Lomuh is watching Ronaldo Nazario or Messi in his prime"
@@mateoclivio Jordan was probably a little faster than Lomu, but I'd definitely prefer to tackle Jordan rather than Lomu.
I'm Spanish, a country known for not being pro-rugby precisely, and even here Lomu was known. I'll miss him as a rugby fan and as a person who admires him. RIP Jonah, you'll never be forgotten
A very sad day for Rugby fans the world over
A Giant on the pitch, but what people didn't know was that he was TRUE Gent off the pitch
Taken too soon.
RIP sir.
Peace
He brought rugby to a new level and we will never forget what he did for rugby.
Rest in peace Jonah Lomu

What is forgotten about him is how good his hands were. A couple of those takes are amazing with how surely he gets them. Big and fast with great hands and awareness. What a player he was.
What a legend. R.I.P Jonah. With love from South Africa.
Thanks for the memories big fella, rest easy now!
Lovely compilation. Thank you very much.
A Lomu-fan from India.
Legends live forever!!
RIP Lomu, interesting to see out of the 15 tries scored, Josh Kranfield assisted with 3 of them, not bad for a Flanker :)
I heard the sad news just this morning, all the way to France. I love this big guy and the All Blacks, it honestly was a big shock for me. Rest in Peace, Jonah Lomu, a rugby legend that will be missed and never forgotten.
A great player on the pitch and a great man off it. R.I.P. Jonah Lomu :(
I thought his try against England was the best I had seen till I saw the one against France. That one is insane.
A mighty Kauri tree has fallen, R.I.PJonah
The forest weeps😔
Rest easy Jonah ✌
Never looked out of breath, or even particularly fussed, when he scored those tries
An inspiration to rugby fans worldwide, a true legend of the game - RIP Jonah
Man him and Joost taken waaaay to early, I mean I've watched his tried so many times especially the on against France gives me chills..always comes to mind, what a specimen, absolute unit, out of this world, one of a kind. Will we ever see someone like him again. RIP big man.

Such a great sight in full flow -Never see his like again!
Three cheers for Jonah lomu
Johna lomu was my inspiration. Rest in peace. Grats from Argentina.
RIP Jonah Lomu. Missed even by those who aren't from New
Zealand. I think everyone on Planet Rugby knows that there is now a great man scoring tries in the great stadium up in the skies. A legacy that no one could ever match not even the great David Campese!
The whole of England rugby knew that this was a special man. I think the England team of RWC '95 know that especially!
JONAH LOMU
1975-2015

imagine if he had been 100% fit,the ultimate rugby player and my hero.
Merci Jonah pour m’avoir fait rêver quand j’étais petit. Merci pour tout ce que tu as fait pour le rugby. Reposes en paix.
Wherever rugby ends up in the future this man's name will stand head and shoulders above the rest. Rugby wouldnt be what it is if it wasn't for Jonah Lomu. In New Zealand my country he is still the nemesis amongst 4 million people...RIP.
what a player... tragic news
He is probably the best player ever seen. RIP. Best player, best team.
I only ever had one hero. Now he's dead.
Miss you!! Thank you so much you put Rugby on the World Map!! R.I.P Jonah Lomu Legend the G.O.A.T!!
R.I.P my bro... and wish to be apart of your wonderful journey ❤ 👊 👍. .. and I just want to say thanks... cause your have inspired me to play rugby and one day become a great man and legend like you ..
Lomu was the one to make rugby popular in my country (Paraguay) during the 1999 RWC. Before him no one really paid much attention to the sport. Unforgettable. RIP gone too soon!
You were Poetry in Motion will never forget you BIG BULL DOG 😊
that try on the 3:40 mark tho... he didn't need a pack that's how much of a beast he was

Incredible size, strength, speed, and agility, plus a genuinely nice guy, which is a rare combination.

One of the greatest athlets of all times. Would surely become a US hero if he accepted the NFL offer. RIP.
Legend!!
Nothing else can sum up Mr J. Lomu. From an Englishman, who painfully remembers, but utterly admires, his running-over of England in '95.
Every sport has that one defining player who will forever be recognized as the best ever. Basketball - Micheal Jordan, Boxing - Mike Tyson, Golf - Tiger Woods. Rugby - Jonah Lomu.
+Anton Nzl Are you serious? Boxing, Mohammad Ali!
+Terry Greatrex Mike Tyson still good doe
Terry Greatrex
Dont be blinded by your love for the man. There is no way Ali could have ever beat tyson at any period of his career.
+Anton Nzl You missed the biggest sport on the planet, football, also missed motorsport.

Watching with a Big tear in my eye, and a lump in my throat
The best. Unstoppable. RIP Jonah
Rip to the legend ......Watching him was like watching juggernaut playing rugby
RIP Jonah Lomu. Legend. Fighter. Ultimate Rugby Player.
when u got a gem like him playing fr your team, sky is the only limit..RIP big man...
This guy inspired many of the current WC All black members to play for sure. He was a pleasure to watch, especially when half the team try to tackle him.
What a legend!!!
As an Aussie sportsfan I've known and marvelled at Lomu ever since the 4 try game against England, but this clip shows one of the most amazing tries I've ever seen, and not quite appreciated till now, although I'm sure I've seen it before. At 4:13... he takes the ball as he dummies around opponent 1 and fends off opponent 2 who falls to the ground, charges on and encounters 6 more defenders, including an chest charge to two opponents who both fall to the ground, which he spins 360 degrees out of, doing another fend off to another defender who falls to the ground, and another couple of defenders trip over as he charges through. It's comical how inept he makes them look!
Just an amazing physical package of strength, agility, speed, acceleration, bulk and height. It's well acknowledged that they couldn't match up on him (he changed the game!) because wingers were always small, fast and agile, but he was big, fast and agile.
Jonah Lomu inspired so many of us from all over the world to be great. You will be greatly missed and you left a lot for us behind to see and continue being the best we can. Thank you and RIP. May God comfort your family at this very difficult time.
There will never be another player of this calibre ever again... Simply an outstanding rugby player....
Take care big man...
Jonah Lomu.. The greatest rugby player the world has ever seen. Really miss him though.. I am fortunate to live and watch him bulldozed the pitch in his earlier and prime time.
Two sports heroes, Jonah, I sobbed when I got told. Got my signed painting. Number 1. My other Aryton Senna, and watched that live.
I thought it was just because I was kid back then watching this. But this still sensational stuff!! Much love to the big man
This was great to watch!! Straight to favourites
Legend. Thanks for making the sport such a joy to watch. RIP.
There are almost no words available to describe how good this man was as a Rugby player and as a Man.
RIP Lomu
I'm happy that Jonah is a mormon he in good place with the one who give him talent to known best rugby player ever...what you do in rugby world n all black i take it for my journey in life " humble, love, kindness etc. Ofaatu #11..RIP.
That one against France where he picked the ball up off his bootlaces is his greatest ever test try in my opinion. He did so well to simply take the pass with a defender right in his face, then proceeds to completely humiliate the French defense. No other player in rugby history would have scored from that position. There were about 6 players between him and the try line, and he just powered through all of them.
What a legend. He'll be missed. Rest in peace Jonah Lomu.
Just to think, i was in an era of a legend, gone too soon toko. Will never be forgotten. Long live JONAH LOMU. R I P
Hoy el rugby esta de luto, descansa en paz leyenda
rest in peace brother see u in the other side
Great rugby....great player..... rugby now has advanced so much. He was before his time...he pioneered the way players play today.
He broke my heart in 95 when he demolished England in the world cup. Jaw dropping power and pace too considering he was so big.
Amazing player RIP
I don't know whole a lot of rugby, but the guy seemed to be really fast. RIP.
+Stonedead1991 He was able to run 100 meters at 10.8 seconds, when he is 120kg (260 lbs)
+Stonedead1991 its the big impact that lomu had on the sport! He was rugbys first global superstar! even if u didnt know much about rugby or didnt like rugby, you knew who jonah lomu was!
