Identify Your Metal Detecting Finds! amzn.to/44NYciY
ive found myself relying on the 2D map more and more i love it
Absolutely did help, learning that manticurve for sure and I like it!
Good video very informative, I've not long purchased a minelab manticore, lots to Learn, so very happy with it.
Outstanding video. Thank you.
Very helpful video 👍🏻
Thanks, love the Manticore!
Detectors have come a long way from your earlier videos with the CScope cs4pi.
This machine is a beast on land. I enjoy using is when I cant get into the water. Great video! I am still learning this machine also
Yes, I like it more and more and passing those black globs that bleed into the ferrous range on the beach. Spend more time swinging and not digging tent pins or bottle caps
Thank you for your video. It's very helpful. I would love to see how this detector responds to aluminum. Are you able to put together a video about that?
Bro thanks for the video
Thanks for the video Kris, looks like an amazing detector, may have to get one at some time!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧🇺🇦
Good video dude I have a manticore it can be quite confusing considering this is my very first metal detector
excellent
Heading for the Manti next week is it worth it now ..? Watched a couple of your previous videos and you were saying it wasn't quite there is it there now ..?
Interesting to see, Have a ctx at the moment, but selling it as its just too heavy on my poor old shoulder. was considering the 900, but this is changing my mind
I had the same problem but didn't want to replace my beloved ctx. I also didn't want to miss the geohunt, findpoint and waypoint functions. The Minelab Pro-Swing 45 was the solution. Now I'm annoyed that I didn't buy the Pro-swing years ago. really recommended. 🤠
Very informative kris awesome stuff bud 👍
Great short video Kris. I’m loving my Manticore. I’m using the 2D trace as additional information but I gotta admit, I’m obsessed with it. I love the way you can circle a target changing the iron trace until you can isolate a good target. 👍🏻
✌️Thank you 🙏 I'm loving learning my Manticore. I really appreciate the lesson you clever people share 😜 This was the first thing I did with my Manticore in my garden with all my finds 😜
This may well be, the most informative video you have ever done.
Thank you.
I’ve got to get one of these manticore’s matey 😊
You can borrow mine for a bit if you want? I trust ya! 😁👍🏻
@@Addictedtobleeps ha ha cheers matey, I’ve literally just got one as had extra funds this month, it’s on charge and I’m going to risk full basic settings out on a group dig tomorrow 😂😂😂😂
@@opshortonmetaldetecting Oooooo exciting!
Don’t forget to do the update 👍🏻
@@Addictedtobleeps fingers crossed 🤞 once it’s charged 😂😂😂
Lovely little video informative and to the point regards matey
Steve
Brilliant, Thank you for the video.
Nice video. Looks promising too. What about bottle caps on the beach at 8"+ deep?
I think the truth is that the change in inductance in the coil rather than purely the target conductivity is what we are reading. In turn this is a measure of the target's eddy current strength induced. Tending to be higher in conductive metals. The caveat is that they're also however stronger it seems on smooth radiused edges and weaker where thickness drops below about 2mm due to some reverberation off the rear surface. The other thing to bear in mind is that the purity of iron ranges as much if not more than the ranging of conductivities in non ferous metals conductivities so that a barely magnetic Rusty nail with a round top would generate Eddy currents of a magnitude closer to some other metal much further up on our scale. At range the numbers become even more arbitrary so maybe the extra power of the manticore is able to i.d better further, if u get my meaning. Dave
What you've shown is a really clever aspect however above and beyond previously making the decision about ferrous/non ferous based on I d number alone. Says to me it's processing nuances better albeit artificially (normally previously performed by ones brain ). Would love to know if a jaggered and thin small hammered enters the ferous bar on the l.c.d ever
Hey up. These manticore vids don't help me in the least. Have had my equinox 900 for about 2 months. Great machine but you are making the manticore look pretty tasty. Like a.bowl of mushy peas. 😅 I watch too much Last of the Summer Wine.
I wouldn’t waste your money on one if you already have a 900. I had a 800 and bought the manticore. The 2D screen does help and it doesn’t. If for instance there is a coin and a rusty nail close in the same hole the screen will bleed into ferrous lines but sometimes it will do that with just a nail with large head on it. The worst part is it sounds good also. I’ve dug just as many bad targets with manticore as I did with 800. I mainly pay attention to sound first then go from there. I still dig a ton of square nails here in Ohio with it. The update I personally think is useless. I’ve got a test garden with nails buried with coins and it will mask the coins with filter turned on. And the red numbers, well it already did that with just a line under it. They need a update for their update 😅
@@brokenarrowoutdoors2467 thanks for the comment. I do believe minelab needs to fix some of the bugs in the Manticore or I would have bought one instead of the nox900. Thanks.
So basically dig everything.
No, not at all 😂
This is a simplified example. It gets a little more tricky out on the field, but no - don’t dig items in the ferrous zones.
did you even watch the vidio
