I figured id post my review for this guy's service work. He installed rp2040 to my oled switch this past weekend, and got it back this past thursday. Works insanely well, and the guy did a great job keeping everything clean! I also like hte fact I can still see the light blinking on the chip, that lets me know that its working etc. Loving my switch oled! Thank you for installing it for me! guy is totally legit, and I recomend this guy to anyone!
Wayayeo, what temperature are u using for those sp1 and sp2 points? I'll use 183° solder, but I'm not sure what temperature to use with the soldering iron

Nah, I'm not giving someone RANDOM $10 to steal my device. This was a beautiful job from a legitimate company My OLED is working flawlessly, running Android, and it's now a unique item for my collection. Money isn't an issue and neither is my experience with soldering, or modding. I buy my games and value my investments so I sided with an experienced hand with microsoldering for my OLED
I've done a lot of V2's. Basicly never did a V1 but to me they look the same. The chip, aka the connector from the cpu to the chip is a tiny touch different, but basicly the same steps. If you wver solded something small, it shouldn't be hard to do, still, be careful to not damage the cpu...
Do you know what supplier had the issue with the oled chips I got a few oled hwyfly with the v3 flex so I was wondering if that’s the one that had the issue!

@@dumahaldemaduma Might be a little late, but mine did not come with a firmware installed. Install the little USB-C Breakout board, connect to PC and drag on the fw_2.73.uf2 firmware. Just had the exact same problem as you and that fixed it.
Buenas tardes, Segui todo el procedimiento, el unico detalle en mi NS es que funciona perfecto en modo atmosphere, pero no entra en modo original o de stock, el leido que es por falta de resistencias en el chip, sera cierto..? Saludos
You’ll need to find a capacitor replacement/donor. Clean the area, prepare with new solder and carefully solder back in place. Look my other videos. Im sure I did this before. Good luck
@@Entity303ITA As far as I remember, if the chip is flashed and it glitches the console, a green light will turn on on the chip (not sure because my chip is still on its way to me)

Great video! Is the v2 install different than v1 or exactly same?
Flex in cpu might be slightly different but soldering is the same.

Muy buenos días amigó. Te recomiendo un SUGON para soldar y de temperatura depende que tipo de soldadura utilizas. Comienza con 700 f Suerte.

Supplier goes by the name of “New Chip Store” and It was the V3 flex cables. I got replacement but I had to place another order.

Hello, I have a 2018 Mariko Switch and it is supposed to be V1, but my question is if it really is v1.1 to use the V2 flex or if it is simply v1
If the cable aligns with the caps on cpu then you’re good.
What temp was your soldering iron at?
I keep mine around 275~285C

I’m trying this exact chip and I’m not getting any leds on the 2040. Do you know of a way to test the flex cable after install?

Is the installation method the same for the lite version?
It’s very similar but not the same. See my other videos I believe I made one for the lite.

Si es probable. Revisa que no tengas ningún punto del chip en corto
hi, I'm broke two capacitor while solder at video @6:20. my nintendo still work in original. how do i solder it sir? that capacitor was broken
