- In This video we are continuing the build/rebuild of the vg30 for Miso, my z31 200zx. We double check everything that was change by the machinist, go over some basic engine building tips and then get the entire rotating assembly for the block, installed! Before you know it we'll be installing this turbo on this and driving around and I for one cannot wait!!!

I love z31's and z31 content
I can't wait to get a real job so I can start building my Z31.
Love the video
I was doing DoorDash when I first started this. It’s just the only thing I spent my money on lol
@@FatalRPM Hey, you're doing good homie. Love the content!
That is a bad ass engine 😂
So relaxing. Thanks for this content. 😌
No problem! I’m gonna try from now on to match the vibe I was in when filming. 😌
This is the content I’ve been waiting for😫
Hes back, LETS GOOOOOO
🥰
Where you get those bolt and studs for the camshaft tray?
How long did it take you to finish the full rebuild. My engine just blew up
A little over a year. This was due to my schedule mainly. If you have more free time it should only take a couple months depending on machine shop turn arounds near you.
how much did you spend at the machine shop? Im looking into doing a vg30e rebuild too
I wanna say everything came out to $1200. There was a bit of extra work done like rebalancing so it did cost a bit more. I will say my options are supremely limited, so if you have options then you’ll probably have better pricing.
Did you happen to use the same piston rods from your old engine or did you purchase new rods?
Z32 rods, I go over all the parts for the engine in this video here; WE GOT THE ENIGNE BACK! - An Update For Miso, My Z31 300ZX Rebuild

@@FatalRPM Awesome thank you!
No problem! Thanks for watching and I appreciate your interaction.
@@FatalRPM Just saw your video I had some questions I didn't hear you mention if you could please answer for me:
1) What size Wiseco piston are you using 87 or 88mm?
2) Are you still using the z31 or did you also upgrade to a z32 crankshaft?
Thank you! sorry for the amount of questions I am in the process of a rebuild and want to see what options I have.
@precise4163 I’m using 87.5 since I’ve had my block bored out since it was out of round a bit.
Also I’m using the stock crank since I didn’t see a major advantage upgrading it since I’m staying under 700hp (forums say that I can handle over 700) and my clutch is already sorted. Granted, I wouldn’t have the issues I do with the harmonic balancer had I upgraded.
Where did you get those pistons
I got them from Concept Z Performance. Unfortunately they were special order so they took a few months to actually come in.
