Happens everyday, i cant tell you how many times I've been approached to trade snap for ciggys or steaks.
I even went as far as discussing it with my local state representative.

Investigate the misuse of EBT CARDS TO SUPPLY RESTAURANTS WITH FOOD AND THEN RE SELL TO THE RETAIL CUSTOMERS…. Seen this many times at the price chopper grocery store in Albany NY … Lobster. Crab. Shrimp and tenderloin steaks…. Then 5-8 food benefits cards pay for it

I've seen some even purchase item's to sell in their small stores from other bigger major brand stores with the major brand stores logo on the food item's....!! Those item's also say they aren't for resale amd have a contact number to call if you want to report someone doing so....!! I contacted Kroger corporation and told them where and who was purchasing their own brand of food item's and selling them at a much higher price, to low income people who don't another choice but to shop at that particular store.....!! They didn't even bother to check on that store or it's owner....!! I've also seen those same foreign business owner's at major brand stores purchasing whatever good selling item's are on sale and if there's a limit per customer then they have their teenage children with their own carts full of those same item's just so they can purchase them also....!!

I was kinda hoping you'd actually show some of the episode with audio so we could watch at least a piece of the case, you only let us hear 5 seconds of the case and then talked over everything else. You didn't even let us hear what Judge Judy said to the news reporter when she was interviewed about the case.

Its happening now in 2024. I can't recieve anything, but I also work. Its still hard when everything is so expensive. So the people that are doing
this I believe they have no shame or morals. I work so they can have a food

I think Food stamp should be temporarily 2 years and not for life. When you're over 65 or retirement age or on disability I think you're entitled to food stamp
And once ur caught with food stamp fraud you and your dependents are black listed from ever having that benefit

Good the agency needs to check out people more throughly I know of a man who is healthy won’t work and collects food stamps in Rochester New York and Binghamton New York. He is my friends soon to be ex. His idea of work is giving blood twice a week and food stamps from two counties.
This is why is only give to individuals in need and give my gently used items to a place that gives people things they need for free.

A mom of my former HH Pedi Pt. Collected Foodstamps. She'd sell them to buy 40 oz cans of beer and lottery tickets weekly. She also used a fake address for them as zip code in Alamo Heights if TX 78209 is a wealthy area vs using her moms place in the outskirts.

Getting food stamps during the pandemic was bonkers, depending on your state. Dont get me wrong, if anyone on it got a bonus (because pandemic), thats great, they needed it. But speaking personally, i get food stamps and i am in Missouri. So during the pandemic, we got a bonus on top of the regular amount. Then a week or so later, it was a bonus on top of the first bonus. Then an increase in a bonus. It was so hard to keep track if how much i was getting in a month, i pretty much threw my hands up and was like "i give up keeping up with this" lol. So i just sat there and let whatever happened, happen, and stopped paying attention for several months lol.
That's what the lady said. She said everyone was selling there stamps cheap because they got so many during covid. Great for people who need, but the ones selling them are buying not so great stuff lol
