  • The organizers described the intention of this march as being to "show the borough what public consultation really means". Organizers also wished to show how many people will, in their view, be adversely affected by the one-ways and loss of parking as a result of what they describe as an "imposed bike path". The "March along Terrebonne" was held on Saturday, February 3 at 1pm. It started at Girouard and Terrebonne at 1pm, and went East to Belmore.
Shortly after the beginning of the march, as it passed Av d'Oxford, there were 37 adult participants and a cameraman from CTV News.
Farther along, at Cavendish, there are 27 adult marchers discernible in footage of the event. Participant counts do not include one infant in a stroller, or several dogs who were also present.

All content is presented for the non-profit discussion of road safety, a topic in the public interest, in full compliance with CZcams's EDSA Guidelines. In content depicting illegal or potentially dangerous conduct, a best effort will be made to blur faces and/or license plates of those involved. In content where the face of a minor child is clearly identifiable (ie prolonged visibility of face from a close distance, without obscuring clothing such as hats or hoods), a best effort will be made to blur the face unless explicit consent from the child and a parent is documented (typically in video footage that may be made available upon request). Please note that we are unable to blur the faces of dogs, cats, or other domestic animals.
SAFETY NOTICE: Video footage is recorded by an experienced adult cyclist wearing a helmet and complying with applicable traffic laws. Some situations involve higher risk due to compromises and/or deficiencies in road design and motorist conduct. Always comply with all road safety laws and wear a helmet when cycling. If a situation is outside your comfort zone, consider briefly dismounting and walking on the sidewalk until conditions improve. Talk to your local elected officials about any safety concerns and what they can do to improve conditions for cyclists.
