Mino was my favorite ship on pc, shes definitely a higher difficulty ship, but is super rewarding when played correctly. I'm glad she's come to console now, and can't wait to relive the greatness. If you ever get tired of the smoke camping, the radar mino is super fun for Destroyer hunting.
I love this ship. I bought the camo too and it looks sexy.
I went with the mod that gives 5% range.
And use the german commander for ap shell damage and the italian commander for reload time as inspirations.
This also gives you the 2.8 sec reload time spartan has, but you dont loose turret traverse.
Plus it adds more shell damage and range.
It’s a pretty OP ship tbh with my build I have 9.7km concealment and 17.4km gun range and 11km torps but stealth is honestly the Minotaur best friend being able to stealth radar/torpedo is great

@@cat-tj1xk Bruce Fraser and then inspirations are gunichi mikawa and jerzy swirski full camo build. And Bruce commander skills are beyond range home run punch through and steer clear then legendary skill is fully packed. Ship upgrades are AA guns mod for 7.2km aa range. Steering gears mods concealment system mod then main battery mod. But depending on your inspiration commander levels your concealment will either be higher/lower than 9.7km

@@cat-tj1xk Tywhritt is more concealment but Bruce Fraser allows you to buff the guns a lot more and considering Minotaur relies on them it helps a fair bit. I’ve changed mine recently camo is only 9.9km and honestly it’s still stealthy
this ship is going to be so toxic. And it's a premium/ paid ship so you know it's never going to get nerfed. A heal that can reprint 33% of your health from an AP citadel. 10x 6" guns that rotate faster and shoot faster than any destroyer. AP that has no drop off and can apparently pen a well angled Grosser Kurfurst (some of the heaviest armor in the game) at 17.5 km. On top of that it has damn near limitless AA, so when this inevitably hides and spams over the tallest mountains, carriers are the only ones that can engage but they'll get the entire squadron shot down if they get closer than 6 km.

Also Radar Mino makes an impressive scout, as anything that outspots it will be detected by radar and swiftly destroyed. It's a bit risky, but playing Mino as a big DD is a viable solution due to the stealth radar and stealth top capabilities.

Spotting is an issue when I play my DD's. I head into the cap and smoke up when spotted. Enemy cruiser approaches, but I can't see him. Why? Because my friendly BB and CC are hiding behind the biggest, broadest, tallest island on the map being completely worthless.

Fav ship on the game hands down surprised you run Bruce I use William tennet and the ap is just mad 600-1k a hit and it's constant people must hate me 😂😂

I love playing this ship when I either have a grouped teammate or two or the overall team work together (which is rare)
Mino's citadel is just as tall as Fuso's superstructure XD
Legends tier is going to be frustrating and fun at the same time because of all these rentals

Minotaur is literally an OP Ship. It would have been great if spartan got in a match with like 4 dds on enemy side and just used that OP Radar. Minotaur is just so OP with the 40 sec radar with 10km range and with the short fuse British AP and 8 torps on each side with like 16k damage or more and a 10 km range. Get the Admiralty backing now if you dont have it. It is very worth 2500 doubloons. Cheap money with an excellent ship and tons of rewards on the way. Thanks WG.
I have played a lot in my Alaska lately and my favorite thing to do is ambush Minos in their smoke, the people who sit in smoke completely unawar of an Alaska hitting your broadside. I have devstruck 2 in total and killed more than 10 (not devstrikes). Alaska slowly becoming my favorite legendary ship
Just got this ship I never really use British cruisers but my first game done 80k damage second game 120k damage it’s a beast!

Dang, I spend my doubloons on the pass that awarded the mainz and Sirocco. I bought it because it gave 2 tears of premium ships I didn't have. I should have saved my 2500 to get this beast of a ship.
You'll get It anyways in 3 months because It Will be available in the bureau Next update while the mainz Will not be available at least for a year so in my opinion the mainz campaign was better because the ship itself Will be quite hard or expensive to get later on while for the mino you just log for 2 months and get It for free
You blame Yamato for not spotting, but you have played this map how many times? The location they were in, it is hard to spot for anybody. You want them to push forward, which brings them closer to those islands making it harder to spot. Bow taking and allowing the enemy to push, was the best case scenario.
They made a couple bonehead decisions at the end. Could it be that they figured it was a loss? From a different perspective, you can argue the cruiser was not spotting for the battleship.
Isn't it bow tanking? Or have I am I wrong?

You mentioned how you are having trouble with keeping targets spotted. I have noticed more and more players that stay at their spawn point and never move up. Are we playing with mobile players already?
Started the bureau yesterday for it
I'd be curious what the reload is with the concealment mod instead of the reload mod. you get diminishing returns when your reload is natively this low. but the concealment can always use improvement. Just thoughts.
I run Concealment in slot 3, and the reload time is 2.8 seconds. Slot 4 has the Main Battery Mod 3 (-12% reload).

The rentals were only available for a limited time kind of a trial for folks to test out Legendary ships.
I believe they also have a rental system if you've been away from the game for a long time and come back. Though I may be wrong

So, provided the Mino player knows what he's doing, what would pair better with that ship? A Worcester or Des Moines? Much as I like Wooster, Des Moines is hands down my favorite ship in the game.

Minotaur doesn’t have the best radar, that title belongs to Chapayev at 11.7km
The duration is so short the chapayev radar can be somewhat ineffective and underwhelming
Yeah russian Radar may have the range but honestly the duration means more often than not the thing you radar lives... so this things Radar in my Opinion is the best radar currently

The Mino is garbage, made of tin foil and Papier Mache, I worked hard to get this ship only to find it's utterly pointless. I get better kills in a FIji.......I
