Fun Fact: Bad Romance was once the most watched video on CZcams and Billboard also named it the best music video of 21st century, it has broke multiple records including most Vma wins for a song in a night (with 7), it is often cited as a monumental culture in pop music which set the bar for music videos to come after it
The Alejandro video is about how different subjects like religion, politics and the military shamed and discriminated gay men. Back then, soldiers couldn't fight for their country if they were gay, so they had to marry women and pretend to live a happy straight life to fit in society. So in the song she sings in the point of view of the woman married to the gay man that truly doesn't love her. In the video she is the physical representation of religion and the military, dressed as a general, as a nun and as a priest. In the scene where she's a nun, she is in bed with "Alejandro" and there are strings controling them, simbolizing what society expect them to be. In the end, the military parade turns into a fashion runway. This video is what truly made Gaga such a strong icon and ally for the LGBTQ+ community.
by the way, Teleohone is the continuation to Paparazzi where she ended up in prision, and Aura was supposed to be the continuation in which she kills beyonce, that's why the first verse, but then ARTPOP was a whole mess so Aura just ended up being a lyric video of a trashy movie 😅
Ohh and Also, Alejandro is a tribute to Alexander MQueen, one of Gaga's best friends who commited suicide. Fernando and Roberto are Fernando Garibay and Rob Fusari, who are producers who worked for her on the production of The Fame Monster
Video Explanations❤️ Paparazzi song and video is about the death of the pop star. Gaga’s input ”It has a real, genuine, powerful message about fame-whoring and death and the demise of the celebrity, and what that does to young people. The video explores ideas about sort of hyperbolic situations that people will go to in order to be famous. Most specifically, pornography and murder. These are some of the major themes in the video." Eh Eh song and video was inspired by where she grew up in new york and the italian side of her and her family. Beautiful Dirty Rich song and video is basically about the way she lived and her lifestyle before her fame era hit around 2006-2007 i believe. Her party scene in the lower east side of new york and her burlesque era really tie in with this song. Bad Romance video was based in a russian bath house and she was being sold off to the boss who she ended up setting on fire hence the ending of her in the burnt bed with her pyro bra next to his body 😂 Alejandro song and video is about her saying goodbye to her pass lovers hence the funeral in the beginning. The director Steven Kleins input “It is about a woman’s desire to resurrect a dead love and who can not face the brutality of the present situation.” By the way everyone thinks the militant man with all black and the bold cut towards the end is Alejandro when it’s actually the shirtless man on the bed in the beginning and very end😂 Telephone is part 2 of paparazzi hence gaga being arrested in paparazzi and then showing her experience in prison for telephone. and yes aura was supposed to be part 3 but it just never happened🥲 fun fact: the pu$$ywagon truck was the real truck from the iconic movie Kill Bill :) Sorry for being technical i just love explaining her art and i love your reactions to her, you are genuinely soo funny😭💗

(Boyfriends are in quotes because we're not sure if she actually dated any of them). Alejandro is fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who designed several looks Gaga has worn including the "Yoda" outfit as you called it from Bad Romance. He killed himself 2 months before Alejandro released as a single. sadly, other one of the dogs died in 2009 so they didn't include either of them in the music video of alejandro. instead they were replaced with Luna (0:15-0:16 timestamp) and Soleil (6:54 timestamp). you can barely see them tho but if you look carefully you'll see them :D
By early 2000s, i meant early for the entirety of the 2000s. To me, anything from 2000-2010 is “early 2000s.”
I'm just curious how old you are as early 2000s to me feels like 5 years ago 😭

Not the robot from starbucks 😂
sadly, other one of the dogs died in 2009 so they didn't include either of them in the music video of alejandro. instead they were replaced with Luna (0:15-0:16 timestamp) and Soleil (6:54 timestamp). you can barely see them tho but if you look carefully you'll see them :D
