Oh dang that's not where I thought it was going. I thought the Vizier was trying to get wards and protection stuff to protect himself from the lich, but that voice at the end was perfection! Proper scary, great work! Can't wait for the next episode, and I hope we get to see the social rules in action in a future episode!

Amazing episode. Perfect length, you are taking it perfectly easy and nicely paced, the story is now settled and you're having fun, the system works, with that amazing creativity and story-weaving shining again like in the previous seasons. I'm very hyped!!
Man, Trevor, you continue to crush this! The story is coming along, the game system seems fun and immersive, the characters are great, and, as always, your storytelling and voice acting are the best of the best! Keep up the great work, sir. Going to be real the reveal totally makes sense and it's makes the main threat more terrifying because it screams how much he controls in such a short time.

Amazing episode. At this rate this is going to become my favorite season yet
So, I'm perpetually astonished about the amount of success levels you set out to reach, the height of skill levels you roll on and that SOMEHOW you manage to thread that needle. Rolling 6 SL on a skill in the 70s? that's like a 10% roll. For a well trained skill and a very low impact spell, so not terribly demanding circumstances.
You gotta talk about how you come up with these goals, it seems you have some intuitive balancing going on that just works well.
My usual routine for a new season, go back to series 1 and listen to every episode from attempted rescue of an orc to the opening of the Soul Cage. Should be up with you guys in yime for the next episode 😊

I love the use of a "clock" you had here for running an investigation. The question isn't whether she can gather the information, but whether she can gather the information before she raises enough suspicion to make things go sideways.

I've been watching the new S4 episodes as they come out and then going back to rewatch the previous seasons as a coping mechanism.

The system is slowly taking shape in my mind after I watched the 3 episodes again and again and the success level system is fascinanting, different level of success dictates how the narrative goes, the lower it is the closer it is to a "yes but" result

The only issue i had with this amazing episode was you rolled "move away from thread" with the lich yet it seemed like you instead the opposite and moved closer.
It puts a pretty big obstacle in front of them pursuing the thread further. Seems fair.
I love your stuff Trevor. I will say, this new system is too crunchy for me, but I do hope you get what you want out of the kickstarter. I must also admit I miss the old days of you just being you and doing weird stuff in other RPGs.

I love this series. I do have to say that whenever you have said Mot Serath, I can't help but have my mind think matzoh ball. 🤪. Appropriate this time of year, though. Maybe do a Space Balls version with that character. Muahaha.
