Rain on a wedding day is a sign of good luck and a strong relationship... a knot that is wet is much more difficult to undo than a dry one.

Tip for Polaroid’s:
Once they are printed keep them turned over (as dark as possible) because the light can altar the development process, so the darker the better ❤️❤️

I’m doing the same type of Polaroid guest book but I’m having my house party run it. So that way everyone gets in the book and the pictures are all accounted for!
People did this at my sisters wedding! Took a bunch of pictures to take home with them.
That's what happened to one of my friends. Another one of my friends has someone stand watch to give instructions and it worked out perfectly.

Hey hun! I have a Polaroid and a couple tips I’ve discovered: 1) once you’ve taken a pic, out it in a dark place like a wallet or pocket to help the colours develop brighter. 2) on the Polaroid there’s 4 types of lighting options and it’ll light up in red the best setting for the environment (as if it’s really dark nothing will show up!) have an amazing wedding! X

wouldn’t recommend a pocket, as touching the film while it’s developing may cause the ink to be patchy (darker in some areas than others)
i usually put mine in the case i have since its boxier or just set it under a light clothe if i’m somewhere like the beach or a party so that it’s dark but not disturbed :)

One thing people don’t know/forget is that your ring finger should be bare as you walk down the isle. He should place the wedding band on your finger during the ceremony and you put the engagement ring on it after the ceremony.
The band sits closest to the base of your hand and the engagement ring comes second in the set.
You can also wear the engagement ring on the right hand and then switch it after the ceremony

Yes. My mum told me that the wedding ring goes on first because once it's on it doesn't come off. If the engagement ring needs to be removed for any reason, cleaning or whatnot, the wedding band won't be disturbed.

I love your level headedness about your wedding. You are going to be a happy bride and that is what really matters. So many brides worry so much about achieving perfection and I understand wanting everything to go well, but we can’t control the weather so to get upset about it would be a waste of your energy. I am pretty easily stressed out, but on my wedding day I just took it all in and enjoyed the day. That was almost 17 years ago and the best thing I have learned is to carry that stress free attitude into every aspect of my marriage. Congratulations again!

I got married two weeks ago, planned an outdoor picnic wedding. There was horizontal rain 90% of the day! BUT we moved the plans inside and it was the best day ever and made it much more intimate keeping all your family and friends close without everyone spreading out over the grounds! 💕

I got married about 6 months ago in December, and it was 40 degrees and rained ALL. DAY. AND. ALL. NIGHT. LONG. 🙄 and to top it all off, my photographer was hit by a vehicle walking into my venue 😢 (she was alright fyi) but we made the best of it! Definitely some stories to tell to our future kids and really anyone who asks 😂

For the fujifilm (polaroid) camera you have to make sure that the camera is set to the right light setting for the photos to turn out ok :) i have the same one and there should be a little light on the front that changes from cloudy/indoor/outside light and then you just rotate the lens to the appropriate setting!

watching this reminded me of planning for my wedding day lol I did the same of collecting all the things and being super excited and looking at it all everyday. It was a really good time. Beware the after wedding blues. No more planning and you feel slightly lost lol
there's a polaroid photo printer available in the market. i suggest you just buy that and use a camera phone in taking the photos and connect it to the printer.

I honestly was worried about the weather before my wedding and then on the day it was raining and I really didn't care, we had the absoloute best day and that was all that mattered ❤️ everything you have bought is beautiful. Just an FYI for the day your wedding ring goes first and then your engagement ring sits on top. If you flip your ring the other way the diamond will sit beautifully :) xx
