Tati my mom had me when she was 39 and I wouldn't change it for the world! My mom was so self-assured, financially secure, and just so ready to have a child that I truly had an amazing childhood!
Julia I agree. It's a very smart thing to do when you're completely secure! I had my 1st son at age 21 (married when I was 19) my second at 24, and my 3rd son when I was 29 almost 30. I know that's a lot but I'm trying to say.....I wish I would've waited until later in life❤️ Even though my body is harder on me now though!
And now she’s almost at 10 mil because people are realizing how hard she works, her passion for makeup
So I listened to Macklemore's Glorious after watching this and immediately applied for my master in social work after years of stalling and self loathing. It was pretty inspiring lol

You always tell people about make-up "you do you". Wear how you want, what you think looks good. So, I say back: you do you. Have babies, adopt, both, get 5 puppies and 6 cats, film vids till you're 80, 90, go down to a couple a vids week.... whatever!! You do you!! I'll think there will be a couple of million of us who stick around.

How are people saying Tati can not have children anymore ?? What an awful thing to say. My sister is 37 and is close to giving birth to her first child. She's happy and healthy, her baby is healthy and her doctor is happy. Nothing more to add to this. People can navigate their live how they please, it's not up to strangers and non-professionals to decide. Must be really hard to stay detached, calm and collected in front of such opinions. Loved this video tati xx

I'm sorry. That sucks 😪 I always wanted to be a nurse but I think I've waited too long. I'm 40 now and they take the youngest into the programs. Don't give up though! You'll get there ❤
Hi Julia, I'm just starting out my career as a nurse after a very hard few years of nursing school. I'm so sorry you didn't get into the program you wanted but if you have a passion for nursing do not give up. Reapply for the next semester, transfer schools, if you are at a 4 year school consider getting your ADN first and then going the RN-BSN route. There are so many options to reach your nursing goals. I didn't get into the first program that I applied to at my semi-prestigious undergrad university and I was heartbroken. I applied to another school and was waitlisted for their nursing program. Finally I applied to a community college's nursing program, was accepted and graduated with my ADN last May. I'm currently working on my BSN online while working at a hospital. It's definitely not the path I every saw myself taking but I'm so happy I did. Being creative and resilient will take you far in nursing, keep fighting and you'll get there. 👩🏼⚕️💕

I started watching you last year when my mom got sick. She had terminal cancer and spent a lot of time in the bathroom, due to the location of her tumors. She loved the sound of your voice so much that she would have me prop my laptop on the floor by the bathroom so she could listen to you while i watched. She would be there for hours just sitting in there bc it was comfortable and your voice brought her a certain comfort. Thank you for your hard work and videos. I know it's a bit weird, but you added this extra special bond to our relationship. Every time i hear your voice, i think about last summer and the time my mom and i spent watching your videos. Thank you for that.

I'm sorry about your aunt. I am currently coming up on the 1 year anniversary of her passing. I am lucky enough to have a job that allows family medical. We spent an amazing 3 months together binging on Tati and talking about life. Make-up, and shopping for makeup, was kind of our thing. And Buffy. Lol

Tati I just graduated college and I got an interview at my alma matar for a job I REALLY wanted but I had no experience. All I've ever wanred was to be a "career women" someone to be taken seriously. Some how I got an interview but sadly didn't get the job. I crawled into bed and cried and wondered why I wasn't good enough. When u started talking about how one door closes, and it happens for a reason I knew thats what happened to me! even though we don't see it now it can be a blessing later thank u for your words and content we all enjoy you rock! ILYS!!! xoxox

Tati I don't know if this helps you or encourages you but my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 years. During that time we have had failed adoptions and failed infertility treatments. We did finally get pregnant with IVF this year and our sweet baby is due December 24! It's such a journey but I know it will happen for you however it comes about! Your videos helped me get through a lot of hard times struggling with infertility!! Sending you lots of love!

So on a whim one night, I searched for makeup hauls so I could get a start on my makeup collection, and your video popped up first. Without even realizing it, you've been with me through high school, moving across the country, countless job changes, and now my college career. Here I am, a sophomore on my way to a bachelors degree, which is where I met the love of my life, who fully supports and loves my passion of makeup. I love you Tati, thank you for being my role model throughout the past five years❤️💕

I just wanna say that my mom had me at 42 while she was also on her 22nd year of the pill, and I turned out fine and healthy. You'll be a fantastic mother when the time is right (heck, you're like a second mom to a lot of us!)...don't let other people pressure you or make you feel worried about YOUR timeline! Hello, new viewer here! Please don't listen to the haters - I had my first baby last year at 38 (I'm now 39) and I'm considering another one. :) She's a beautiful, healthy baby girl and a total blessing. Also, my cousin had her first at 50 last year (no IVF or anything extreme!) and she's healthy too! Yes, there is an elevated chance of defects but it's NOT substantial. For now, I'm just admiring your handiwork because although I LOVE makeup, I'm nursing and I'm keeping it natural and using Pacifica eyeshadows & natural brands, etc. Ohhh I would love to see a video on more 'natural' makeup, since that's all I'm using for now. Love your stuff!

This video was such a breath of fresh air. Tati, I missed this side of you a lot over the past couple of months. I feel like you've been pressured to make your videos a certain way or to appeal to your overly critical audience (I hate reading your comments sometimes- they're so mean!!). To see you happy, relaxed and just being yourself in this video was SO nice!
My mom is 41 and has just had a baby in March, at first I was skeptical and I felt upset that I would be replaced but I love my sister so much and my mom is perfectly healthy and I am SO happy for her to move on with her life after divorcing my dad, and moving on to her husband

I feel so connected to you after this video. Went through some really ugly stuff through my life and for the past year I am trying to build a career on CZcams in Croatia, small country in Europe. Recently I launched my brush line and got some really mean comments and insults, mostly from colleague bloggers, took me a lot of time to recover. But I did not give up, I started filming even more and crossed 10K subscribers, which is a lot for beauty CZcamsr in my country. And today I see you using my brushes in this video. Made me cry. Not sure if anyone has commented on the meaning of "puka" in Hawaiian, but it means "hole". When I was a kid, if I wore distressed jeans with holes / tears in them, my mom would point disapprovingly and say, "How come your jeans get so many pukas?" So the first time I heard the name Puka on Tati's videos, I thought of my jeans in the 90s.

Tati, I for one will still be a LOYAL subscriber and follower if you break away from the 5 days a week schedule. You are allowed to take whatever time you need to be happy and healthy. I would never want this to become something that you resent or feel pressured to do instead of something that you are passionate about and happy to wake up and do everyday. When you're really excited about something or feeling truly inspired, we can tell!!

I get what you mean with people pressuring you to have kids. My husband says (and he's completely right) that women are the only ones pressuring other women to have kids. It's a very personal decision and shouldn't be judged for it

My bf is in her 30s and her mom asked her if she was a lesbian bc she wasn't married with kids. She's not lesbian she's just taking her time. Her mom tells her she's going to dry up and cries bc she wants grandchildren.

Tere Noy completely agree and it's driving a wedge between my friend and her mother. It's every sad. I have many friends that feel pressure from their families that get married and have child. It's huge in the Latino community. If you're not married and pregnant by 22 they think something is wrong with you.
And sometimes women can't, or somethings wrong, or they haven't found the right person, etc. etc. No one should ever judge a woman on her family!

Tati- thank you. I have been battling cancer and a newly diagnosis of Crohn's. To say after all my surgeries I did not feel pretty or ready to face the world is an understatement. I came across your channel and have enjoyed seeing all the products $-$$$$ and have taken a plunge to try some for myself. I woke up this morning and baked my face as I got ready to go back to work after 4 week medical leave from surgery. I feel ready to "face" the world again. So thank you for your fun tips and tricks!!! I still can't do eyeshadow but am eyeliner is just fine for now :)

I've been diagnosed for just over a year and a half. You're going to get through this! It feels so daunting at first but eventually you'll find the flow and it will start just being an occasional hassle.
I am in tears when you talked about putting in the hours. I am in school, trying to get to med school and your videos are really the highlight of my day! Thank you so much for being there for all of us Tati and being our inspiration.

I seriously cannot figure out why a total stranger would take time out of their day to pressure a woman they do NOT know, to have children. Like, you must have some serious free time if you are one of those commenters who do that. Tati, I have a child and it is a TON of work. Enjoy your free time girl and know that the women who are pressuring you are probably just jealous that they have screaming children around them while you have a glamorous life on youtube, an awesome Husband and a killer house! If anyone makes you feel bad about your age and not having kids, I guarantee that it comes from jealousy. Enjoy life and have babies when you and your hubby are ready... not a moment sooner. Hugs!

I get it if they get upset about someone criticizing their makeup skills or questioning their integrity, but to let comments like " why don't you get married" "why don't you have children" " why don't you drive" " why don't you cook" pressure you? that's your own fault. if someone close to you said that I get why you might be upset, but if it's a comment on the internet? no. sorry.
siri H you may say that but people need to learn manners just because they are using the internet they forget how to use them. Most of those people will not go up to a random stranger and say that. Those comments would bother most people. Its none of those people business on if she should have kids or not ext. . maybe she can't have kid and they are leaving the constant reminder or something is going wrong that she doesnt have to tell us.(not saying its true) The moral of the story is people should comment about the videos not her life.

I don't know what it was today Tati, but I just have been crying so hard after listening to you talk about your success. I'm 22, about to graduate college and I've been so afraid of what's next. Failed relationships left and right, feeling alone and confused. Anxiety so bad I've just wanted to crawl in a hole. But I do see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I'll enjoy the ride on the way there. It's refreshing to see your success from a different perspective. I feel like I have to have my life figured out right now, but I have no idea what I'm doing. And that's okay. Anyways, keep doing what you're doing. I don't comment often, but I watch you every single day and I'll always support you. ❤️
Hey Megan, just wanted to give you some support! I'm 24, and tbh being 23 was tough - I'd just graduated and had to move back in with parents because money, but then no jobs in my area meant no real income while I lived at home + 0 hour contract etc - not a great place to be. I'm not going to pretend like I was the big mature adult full of patience because I was really whiny and annoying for a while but once I decided to throw caution to the wind and just apply for jobs where I actually wanted to be it all slotted into place (gradually - I lived in a bedsit with no money while working 10/11 hour days for a month or so) but the point is I'm still not exactly where I want to be life-wise but for my age I'm happy with where I am and I'm doing something I love. TLDR it might be hard for a bit but I think your 20s is a time for figuring things out. Don't put too much pressure on yourself to be where you want to end up eventually right now! God bless xxx

I know the chances of you replying to my comment is slim but I just want you to know that this was such an inspiring video for me. Lately, i've been mulling over what to do with my channel exactly and this is exactly the answer i was looking for. It's so amazing how you can come up with 5 videos a week. Hey Tati I finally go to finished the whole video, you know life happens and you have to pause the video. I just wanna say you for always inspiring me. I really need to hear the message about your CZcams journey. I've been your subscriber since 300k and I'm so proud of all your hard work. I understand the hard work that goes behind on just uploading a video and not to mentioned setting up to film. It really doesn't matter if it took 5 years or 10 years to where you're at, all it matters is that you are living you're dream and still inspiring us smaller CZcamsrs. I began my channel back in 2014, I was so motivated to upload and then I started doubting myself, I don't have a good background, I'm filming with my iPhone 4, my lighting sucks and I don't have enough money to review anything :/ so I took a break from CZcams on and off and I'm happy to say I'm back and not going anywhere ! I listened to this video and watched Tati... here is this beautiful woman who has told us all her insecurities over the years and I remember when I became a subscriber. Tati used to refused to show her ears because she thought they were too big and stuck out, she didn't want to have dark eyebrows because she thought it didn't look nice on her. Just within a year look at your personal growth Tati. I appreciate that you are showing us how anyone can change and grow.
