Red velvet is a unique group with unique concept. Red" and "Velvet". "Red" signifies their vivid and bold image, whereas "Velvet" reflects their classy and toned-down side. I’m looking forward for you to discover them because they have a lot to offer. Vocal, production, concept name it.

They recently released the behind the scenes recording of this song, I think you must’ve recorded this before they did but it would be super cool if you’d have listened to that to really hear their vocals- my personal favourite member is Seulgi BUT I can admit that Wendy is their QUEEN of vocals (the deeper classical sound you briefly heard at the end) honestly you could react to any of their songs and you won’t be let down by the vocals 😁

If you like weird, their song 'Zimzalabim' is one of the weirdest I've heard in kpop. 😄 BUT, I would recommend their biggest hit as your next reaction, which is 'Psycho'. The production on it is just gorgeous.
Wendy is the girl with the classical sound, she's beautifully trained and was in show choir when she lived in Canada, her control is insane. I think she's the only singer or one of the only singers in kpop that has a 4-octave range, but I might be wrong on that.

Not surprise because they are from SM, the agency with the best vocalist in this industry. Red Velvet is known as the group with the members that have the best vocals and so good in harmonizing. They have one of the best vocal lines in Kpop! Wendy is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. Her range is the widest in Kpop (4 octaves).
They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups.

Ahhh this is so CUTE to see someone reacting to this (which is admittedly on the experimental end for kpop and Red Velvet who is more experimental than most) seeing them for what has to be the first time. You need to do more Red Velvet reactions please, so you can see how varied their sound can be. And ah - yes, Wendy - the blonde in that last clip - she is the one you kept referencing. She is an incredible vocalist with great technique. She had a solo album earlier in 2021, so you can find some really great videos of her singing. I personally would have loved to see more reactions to her Wendy Day video of this year (soing her fave, Light Me Up) - but I agree with the other commenter as well that I would love to see you react to their recording behind the scenes videos as well.

For the song Red Velvet - Feel My Rhythm they took a sampling of classical music from the famous composer, Johann Sebastian Bach - Air On The G String. In addition, Red Velvet also adapts famous paintings from the Middle Ages, for example:
    1. The Garden Of Earthly Delights - Hieronymus Bosch
    2. The prince Of Hell - still taken from The Garden Of Earthly Delights
    3. The Swing - Jean Honoré Fragonand
    4. Ophelia - John Everett Millais
    5. Woman with paraso - Claude Monet
    6. Lady Looking Behind The Wall - Paul Philippoteaux
The song Feel My Rhythm is still in the concept of The Reve Festival. That means it's still the same as Reve Festival 1 Zimzalabim, Reve Festival 2 Umpah Umpah, Reve Festival 3 Psycho.. SM itself mentioned that RV itself is still in the Spring concept.. and Joy said that this year there will be frequent comebacks.. maybe summer RV will comeback again

If we focus on vocal technique I saw posts from "experts" writing or saying that Red Velvet, as a group, is the second best one after Mamamoo.
The definition of talent is defying in K-Pop by a few more criteria than in the west. No one cared if Mariah Carey has a good dance technique on her prime. Talking about that, I'm glad that you discovered Wendy Carey.

Both NCT and Red Velvet are both from SM ( Their label ) which are known to have really experimental tracks with unusual structure. But they’re also known for producing some of the best vocalists in the industry.
