tbh it's easier to have a funny name since you can have duplicates now.
I genuinely think modern day iron players play at a level similar to what your average silver/gold player used to play like 5 or so years ago. Which is why a lot of the actually unhinged or baffling things you used to see in old school bronze doesn't happy anywhere near as much as it used to.
Yeah, seeing 5 people hitting 100 cs @14 makes me incredibly sad about my own achievements. 5 years ago it would be probably a standard for gold if not plat.

You might be right, but I am not sure. I am currently gold 2 but when I get matched up against anyone in iron or bronze (thanks riot) it's extremely obvious. They make the same mistakes and are super easy to hit with skillshots. But silvers do feel like golds lots of times, though the ranks aren't far off at that point.
yeah I've been slogging it through bronze/silver this season after not playing for a year and man have people in low elo improved. Farming, mechanics, game sense in bronze is about the same now as it was 4 years ago in gold

I want to watch a tournament for money, where the 10 players are chosen randomly from iron and bronze. They have about 2-3 days with your teamates to have at least some teamwork.

I'm the Yuumi player! One of my friends sent this to me~ Long time fan of Ross, but for a hot second I was having an emotional crisis that I ended up in one of these videos. At least I wasn't the one getting roasted in it.
I'm at 650k mastery on Yuumi (400k on the one in the video and another 200k on my alt). I'm in silver, so nowhere good enough to be giving advice or anything, but it's definitely a tough call on if you should abandon your laner, because they could scale and you just ruin that chance, or you could stay with them and you get ran down under tower 6 times and are both useless the whole game. It's mostly just a vibes thing. How'd they die, are they csing and do they actually have gold, are they playing without a minimap, is anyone tilting, etc. When I decided to jump ship I usually just go to the person with the most gold, in this case viego. Not always, but most of the time. The reason I was following around Ornn for a while was because I was trying to get my moonstone upgraded but as soon as it was I went back to viego because that was our team's win condition. Hop in the backpack and keep the carry alive, try to make sure nobody runs it down.
Yuumi, mechanically, is arguably the easiest champ. Not debating that at all. She's not mechanically difficult. However, I do think she takes more skill to play than people give her credit for. There is a HUGE difference between a good yuumi and a bad yuumi. There's more macro play to her than most people realize, like knowing when to hop off the Kog onto Viego. You need to know how do you keep your team's gold on the map. If someone is dying, will I die with them, who is safe for me to sit on. You need to earn your enchantresses, but you also you gotta earn your team's trust as the enchantress too. Nobody is going to run into a 2v4 with a yuumi on them when the yuumi is pinging mikael's if you think the yuumi is playing with their feet, yknow?
Honestly, if you want to climb, you have to play a different role. A lot of support pros climb until emerald/plat in a different role and then main support. Especially if you play an immobile champ like yuumi. Or you should play a carry support like senna or pyke. Bot lane is very difficult if you're playing with Randoms. They yolo in and then you get flamed when they die. I personally play top lane since it's an island. If I duo I go support. I don't really play ranked because it's toxic and I enjoy support. So yeah I just go top for ranked. And /mute all
