I flew out today from Barcelona, JUST to see the band again tomorrow at their UK/Europe premiere in Birmingham playing with Weezer!!! I will do a 5 concert tour!! 😀 (but this time alone.. 😫). Birmingham, Berlin, Vienna, Barcelona, Athens. I hope to enjoy it again, like on that tour I did with them in 2019 (with them and with Billy Corgan on a solo tour!!). hugs!! Xavi

It is one of those very VERY few songs that isn't a song at all. It is a sort of anthem. It's perfect. It taps into something universally understood.

@@bullit4x Absolutely! I saw them with my wife on my birthday in 2018’ in Kansas City, and when they played this it was so freaking amazing that I was seriously emotional. Lol

was at Lollapalooza 1994 when they played, they came out and I was across a field, and they started with this song, as soon as the first chords rang out you could a moment where time held and then the place exploded - at that time this was the coolest song inthe world

So glad to see James and Jimmy are back in the band. I saw them in the early 90s in the Effenaar Eindhoven (the Netherlands) I was amazed by their performance. James Iha was it !!! During that same time I saw Nirvana too but they hadn't the same impact on my that the Pumpkins had !
You are a very lucky individual to see 2 of the most influential bands of the 90s live
Saw SP at Reading '92. James had the most fabulous spangly silver dress. Billy used his guitar like a baseball bat on the mics at the end. He later said he hated that gig and they played like crap, but I never noticed. I was in heaven!
One thing I love about SP - apart from their music, of course - is they are very professional and very respectfull of their fans. And very happy to see reunited 3 founding members... Cheers SP fans across the universe

And this summer, “tour with them” through Europe like in this video in 2019... 😉❤️ With concerts in Birmingham (with Wezeer as support acts and start of European tour), Berlin and Vienna followed (with Interpol as support acts) and Barcelona (only show in festival, because it is my city...), and Athens to say goodbye and get to know the city!! I hope you can make and shoot such great videos, like on that tour with them in 2019. ☺️🙌🏻🙏🏼

It’s not as straining as it sounds. The screaming is from the big muff pedal used in a lead role on a unison bend. You get this same effect on pre bends and to a lesser extent on normal bends, so it’s mostly the big muff getting the screams out. He also likely has some sort of treble based pedal to push his guitar through the mix too.
Billy is an actually very accomplished musician. Very technical and soulful
