It happens all the time. I studied Sinan Antoon's 'The Corpse Washer' this semester at uni. he had originally published the book in Arabic and then translated it himself into English which is a really good read.

Of course it is! You just have to expand you vocabulary. What I do is write down descriptive or weird words I don't understand while reading that I think are gonna help me. And synonyms so I don't repeat myself too much.

Your writing videos are what introduced me to BookTube 6 years ago, and after seeing your writing highs and lows over the past few years (or at least, the ones you chose to share lol), it's so awesome to see how excited you are about your first complete, polished draft in several years!
