Hi, can I ask, what could this card mean in a three cards reading, past (1st card, lovers) present (2nd card, the hangman) and future (4 of swords) regarding two people that are no longer in a relationship? Thank you

well, it would suggest that there are still some stories pertaining to the past relationship that would be good to think about, meditate upon. lessons to learn still, perhaps. If your mind is focussed on the past relationship, then this would show it also. But it speaks about quietening those thoughts, and putting them to rest.
