I get scared when I get too happy. Especially when I feel like I couldn’t be happier. Because it is at point something happens to take all that happiness away and the higher I feel the bigger the crash into depression I have gotten. Is this similar to not wanting to take that fourth cup. It’s easier to keep my emotions at a neutral without risks. But it’s a constant low . No joy, but no heartbreak. But really it is mostly sadness .

Thank you Mark! This was really interesting. I abs resonate with it. I tend though, to jump in and think later lol. This helps me realize it’s important to really ask if I want the extra cup and if I’m ready and responsible enough to take it on. Much to think about as I’m open now to a relationship. How much am I willing to share? 🙏🏼❤️
