so, having never played Azure (since I can't read Japanese), and not usually listening to OSTs of games that I've not played, I actually thought "Break In" was Mystic Core my first time playing this game. And then when I heard this, I realized that there was no way I was right about that assumption. Safe to say, the hype around this song is well deserved

It's not as bad as calling Sieg Zeke or Bose Beaus. Especially the last one since the correct spelling was literally on the map in game.
I Played Fie with 100+ % Evade in the party, storming the Orchis tower is too easy even though in 1st playthrough and Nightmare.
I somehow got her at like 120% evasion
I was like she doesn’t need to be over lol but that Scud Ripper or whatever has instant KO’s and during boss she can evade just about everything and on top of that give her that Chrono Burst with Kurt’s brave order activated and she can get a ton of turns in
Especially if the enemy is in break status

Mystic Core in itself is a weird loaned word used because it was mildly related. Thaumathurgy is related to the church in Trails before this but the actual real life use is “anything related to supernatural or miracles”. This is why it was used as the word for the church’s spells before. And why NISA chose to use it as a more appropriate English name for Mystic Core. Besides, what is even a “Mystic Core”? A Mystic is a person who attains an understanding of the world beyond normal, which would apply to the alchemist, not their workshop.
@@lenleon3699 Thaumaturgical Sector is still weird because in terms of world terminology, Thaumaturgy is more connected to the Septian Church more than it does to the Crois alchemists, because you know, "alchemy".
That and that very dungeon is the only instance in Trails where the dungeon theme and the dungeon itself shares the same name, so it's more thematic in a sense.

Honestly you could probably become proficient enough to play JP games before nisa gets around to releasing hajimari if you start now. Plus by then kuro 2 and maybe even kuro 3 will be out and waiting for you to play em with your newfound Japanese reading skills!

The violin in this is a lot more crisp. The arrangement is less compressed in general.

Agreed. As good a remix as this is, I still think both the Original and Azure Evo versions are better. The Evo version in particular is outstanding.
