What an excellent battle song, very good work Mr Singa!
I finally found it. I can listen to this all day. Made me super hype while fighting!
Love the short segment in 1:23 - 1:49 before the shift to what some call "Pirate Mode". Would love more of that part
I used to dislike this song. Now honestly it’s probably one of my fav songs from CS IV
This song kicks ass!!
Love this part 1:23, also sounds like something that could be in Trails In The Sky SC.
Fitting one of the boss you fight with this on in Gillbert
yea ik smtg was off like where did i hear this rythm?
That one is clearly underrated
옛날 jrpg 느낌나는 트랙이라 좋다
This sure is music
Came back to relisten to this to own someone and yes i can confirm this is certainly music!
Great boss theme, but I honestly like "Mighty Urge" as human boss theme the most tbh.
you people are complaining over nothing, this shit slaps. one of singa's better pieces by far
Exactly. There just seems to be a band wagon of bashing Singa for the sake of it.
@@ChaoticNarrativehonestly I can even understand the complaints on some of the tracks (Deep Carnival would be good if not for the bees) but it's silly to write off every one of singa's tracks by default. This one is good.
9/10 only part that i dont like is the pirate mode
PIRATE MODE INTENSIFIES
🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
goofy ahh panning
This one wasn't that bad
It's got that pirate vibe at 1:50
This doesn't sound bad, I actually rather like the sound of it. It just doesn't feel like it flows at all and that's what seperates it from being a good piece of music to an amazing one. That's what I think of this one.
Im confused, do people think this sounds bad? Why?
@@thechurchofshulkanism1077 Every time i read people trolling this composer i think i lose a bit more of my brain cells. I've been listening to this ost for a bit now and I just love the way Singa does things. I'm not a music expert, but when something sounds good? When i can repeatedly listen to it? It's all i need.
@@thechurchofshulkanism1077 It suffers from Singa's usual problems such as somewhat poor mixing, meh audio quality, weak drums, and bad guitar. It's also got nonsense like Pirate Mode just coming out of nowhere and messing with the feel of the song.
Personally, I still enjoy the piece though, and it's probably one of Singa's better rock tracks.
@@MaskedKingDavid I mean I don't hear any mixing issues, and you can't objectively say his drums or guitar are bad. I think they work wonderfully in this piece. Y'all are making up problems where there are none
@@thechurchofshulkanism1077 Just because you don't hear mixing issues doesn't mean they aren't there. Compare this carefully to any of Unisuga's songs or even some of Singa's past stuff like Step Ahead and some difference should be noticable. What you're listening to the music with (earbuds, laptop speakers, over-ear headphones, ect) will probably also affect how noticable the problem is.
Y'know, good drums are actually ia good idea. Why do you think Unisuga spends so much time perfecting his? (Or why do you think every other Falcom composer (heck, even past and present Singa to a degree) bothers to have drums that are actually decently audible?) The song works without them, but it would definitely be improved with some strong drums.
There is definitely such a thing as bad guitar and sadly, Singa's is much more on the bad side. It's far from unlistenable in this piece and the bulk of his stuff, but it's still an issue and still detracts from the song.
I don't like this one much but I can see why others can like it. Sadly it's going to be a 5.5/10 for me.
Dont really like this one, way too busy. Also whats up with da goofy 1:52 pirate music mf sounding ass this actually goes hard i completely forgor this part lmfaoooo
Really wish Unisuaga was more involved with the ost of this game especially foe boss themes this track is just meh imo
The first 5 seconds aren't even that bad compared to Singa's standards... Until it regresses into his habit of... being bad. At least I don't feel like he tries to troll the audience, being the clown that he is.... It's just a forgettable track. Oh well, one of his songs being at least "forgettable" is actually progress for him as a composer. XD
Where do you think it starts getting worse?
I'd love to see all the reasons why Singa tracks are bad. I know it has something to do with him and his synth, and i do understand he has the tendency to use synth, and it happens way too much
To name a few:
His synth is typically bad.
His guitar usually does not sound very good.
His compositions are often repetitive.
His mixing is almost always trash.
His audio quality (not composition quality, audio quality) is bad.
And all this is coming from a guy who loves a ton of Singa's stuff.
Oh, forgettable, is it? and yet you saw fit to complain about it? I'm surprised you remembered what you complained about in the first place.
You know, since remembering stuff needs a brain, and you....well...
@TheOutkast4ever He has a set back since the start of his career. XD
But to be fair there are some great masterpieces by him, like the amazing Kuroinu ED theme. I listen to it always when I decide to enjoy Kuroinu again. Great song for a legendary hentai. If it were a bad song I wouldn't watch the end credits EVERY TIME.
