Use crayola’s model magic to fill in the chip on the cookie jar. Once dry, you can gently shape it smooth with 220 grit sand paper. Then just touch up the paint with multi-surface glossy black acrylic paint. Easy peasy!!

When I look at the little house shaped shelf with the drawer in it, my mind goes straight to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in the manger for Christmas. Mistle Toe, Holly, and/or Poinsettias would look super cute in the drawer too.

I have to say your hair is so pretty!!! It looks a lot less heavy. I have that same problem!!! My daughter does my hair and I can get a trim and it looks like you could make a wig out of what is on the floor. You are are gorgeous either way! ☺️
I really like the wash cloths & the little pots with greenery. And the wooden frame on a pedestal is awesome ! Yea, Dollar Tree is still raising their prices.

Your hair looks amazing. The Mickey Mouse planter with chip is an easy fix.
Use the Dollar Tree spackle plaster.
First use a piece of scotch tape underneath the chip to help hold the spackle from falling
When it firms a bit use a damp/wet paintbrush to smooth out the desire depth of plaster,completely dry overnight next day remove tape from underneath and you can file dried plaster with nail file/sander.
Last use black shiny nail polish from the dollar tree.👍🏽 I do this all the time when I have a chip on all of my ceramic decor. Hope this helps and thanks for sharing your Dollar General Haul. Your hutch looks lovely. Oh I would love to see you decorated with a bit of strawberries here and there because of you I’ve done strawberry DIY’s in the past.
Dollar general has some good things but around us their stores are a mess.
Sharpie if you can't find the little chip. That is a great find.
The strawberry drink dispenser that matches that glass is at 5-below store. It's two gallon glass strawberry with a spicket on the bottom! That is 5.00 the glasses that match are also 3.00. Perfect for a summer BBQ.
You can use super glue and corn starch to fill the chip. Paint it black and then go over with high gloss Modge Podge to make it blend in.
Or just color it black get a small scoop decorate it like you did the spoons a couple of years ago. Stick in the candy sideways so it covers the chip. Out of sight out of mind.

I like DG. They do have some cute things. They also have digital coupons and a $5 off $25 on Saturday. Before I go shopping, I go to their app and click on the coupons I want. I have 5 DG's close to me. My favorite things that you hauled are the strawberry 🍓cup, the strawberry 🍓, blueberry 🫐 and lemon 🍋 dishcloths, the strawberry 🍓plates, the mason jar glasses and the blue coffee cup with white stars. I love the saying: Shake your sparkler. 🎇 I would also buy the blueberry 🫐 and lemon 🍋 plates 🍽

The little “house” with the drawer looks like a stable. Would be great for Christmas. Turn the drawer upside down and you can have a place for the animals.

I had a Christmas ornament and the legs of the elf broke off. I used white caulk to "glue" them back on, sanded slightly when dry, then painted. That was 2 years ago. Just had him out this past Christmas. His legs are still intact. P.S. He is resin tho, not glass. But I use caulk for so many different crafts. It's a "workhorse". Also when you said "dish rag". That just warmed my 💜 heart. My Grandmother called them that, and I still to this day, say dish rag. If something spills, I say "go get the dish rag"..... We even say "wash rag" for the bathroom, instead of the fancy schmancy "wash cloth"..... We're just simple "coal region", folk, and I wouldn't trade it for anything💛💜 Thanks for bringing the memory of my Grandmother to my mind this morning. ❣️

I would hang that little shelf on the wall. Maybe in the kitchen, I would sit maybe even spices or salt and pepper shakers on it.
I love DT'S soap pumps! I bought several of them! And several jars from DT to put together & give to my girlfriends to add to their gift baskets that I give them every year for our Girl's Beach Week! And, btw, those soap pumps work very well!😊

Jennifer, please be careful putting open candy in Mickey. Since it was made for a plant it may not be food safe. Wrapped candy is ok…just want your family to be safe! I wish my Dollar General had half the items you found. My store sells mainly food, makeup and household items…not much of home decor. ❤Diane from NJ
Good for a navity scene at Christmas
For the Mickey candy dish: I would use some white air dry clay and then color it in with a black sharpie. Make sure that it is flush the with edge of the rim. It’s so pretty and I would return it!! I haven’t been to my dollar general since last year. Time to visit!

Hello Jennifer, Yes Dollar General would take the Micky Mouse planter back with the chip. Just simply explain that it was already chipped when you purchased it and show them your receipt. I have purchased items there before that were already damaged and I didn't notice it until I got home. Maybe you can purchase another one at a different store. I Love all of your halls, DIY'S, ETC. We have at least 4 that I know of. We looked in all of them for the spring butterfly canvas. My hubs finally found it in one store we never go to. I LOVE your haircut, I always cut mine when it heats up becuz it ends up a ponytail or bun anyways. It makes your face open up and you do look younger.

The lemon mason jar is cute, I bet it would be cute if you bought little yellow flowers and a plastic lemon🍋 and make a flower arrangement out of it also make the other one with summer flowers. 💐I get alot of decor from ours for 1.00. Great Haul yes I only have one DT, but I have several DG around me, so yes at least they really do have a lot of 1.00 things still so I'm going to start going more myself. Hey Jen that is an absolutely adorable Dollar General haul take the Mickey Mouse bowl back they will take that back and exchange it for another one or get something different you don't have to find the piece you can take it back and they will refund it
You could try spackle and form it to the area, let dry and paint it black.
I love all your choices! I also got the blue mug, and the red one too. When I went, they also had 2 other ones, different size mug, but all 4 together make a nice set for my mug tree. The other 2 say Red White & Blessed (Red Mug) and Let Freedom Ring (White and Blue Mug). I also picked up the strawberry washcloth set. They also have cute fruit sponge holders, which reminded me of the strawberry one I've had for quite a few years. I love the wooden shelf you found. ❤

Great haul. I don’t like that they change the color on those bees either. I went to Dollar General yesterday afternoon. They had that blue cup but also a red one that said Red, White and Blessed. I passed on buying it because I have too many mugs already but I may go back and get it. If you are interested I will look at the Dollar General’s here in Harrodsburg for that Mickey planter, I remember seeing it in at least 1 of our 3 stores. I live within minutes of each of them so it wouldn’t be a problem and I can get it to you by some of my Louisville friends that I see every weekend. BTW, Thank you for answering my question yesterday about the Dollar Tree lanterns! Got those same friends on the lookout for them 😂.
Use the air dry clay and mold it to Mickey and then touch up with black paint or black sharpie.

Jen...if you just touch up the chip with a little black craft paint you wont notice it. You may want to do 2 coats. I do this all the time.

You can get a black sharpie and color the spot, you only knows it was chipped..., also check to see if you have a pop shelf...they are a dollar general store, they have good prices and decorations etc...you will love it...

Try putting spakle on Mikey smooth it out or softly sand it and then paint it.

Thank you for sharing. I would call the store to see if you could do an exchange. If not sir dry clay. Mold into the broken area. Once dry paint and then seal the area so it's food safe since you want it as a candy dish. We are a Disney family as well.

I realized when I first came across your videos for the first time it was a Dollar General haul and I loved it, I think you had a tiered tray in that haul, not sure. But been with you ever since. Especially loved and cried right along with you decorating your mom's hutch. I feel your pain every time you tear up cause I too miss my moma soo much.
