I bought those same Nike wrestling shoes. Wore them one week. 😅 I have a pair of Everlast Elite 1s and the strap on that's ridiculous too, but I don't mess with it too much. I've settled into the Everlast PIVTs, they're my favorite so far.

Been using the everlast elite 2.0s in all white for 4 months of training (2-4 hrs, 5-6 days a week) they’ve held up amazing. Only gripe is the insoles sliding around at month 3. Swapped out the insoles for some nike sfb ones and they’re nearly perfect again. The mesh/fabric material collects alot of sweat and odor tho. But easily the best bang for your buck boxing shoe at around $120, it beats having to spend another $60-$80 each month on the cheaper nondurable shoes out there (title/super rare/adidas box hog)

The Nike sweeps were one of my first pair of boxing shoes I used too when I started competing ! I eventually got hyperkos 1.0 which I still use and my favorite personally besides the adidas tygun 2 (which are discontinued now)

When you are looking for a pair of boxing shoes suddenly you discover you have "wide feet"... I have no idea why all these companies decide that only 13-year-old boys with feet of ballerina love boxing, this is such nonsense. The best advice is never to buy them without trying them on by yourself. I tried all of them fancy pairs of Adidas and Nike - all of them are too narrow. I have Everlast - they pretty sure last forever. Adam's are well known for their crappy quality despite the comfort. One-time shoes. Now I have Fly's, they are very comfortable, will see if they hold for some time.

Wrestling shoes for boxing training? Why would you do that?
I used Nike HyperKO. They are good. Also currently I'm using Nike Machomai 1 and Adidas Tygun 2. Tygun 2s are good. HyperKOs are at my parent's place interstate, and reason I switch is to let them dry better.
