I'm so impressed by that one kid who spoke about adult fears. His parents are doing an excellent job. There are programs like REACH (with Regis High School in NYC) that can really propel a kid's life even further. I hope the parents look into it and see if it's a fit if they have not yet done so.
Yea I was one of those kids too my school wasn't a private school or anything but my primary school was the 3rd cleanest school in the USA and it was a blue ribbon school of excellence too and I have the fear of death, spinning, and failure, and because of that I became a pretty good adult. I think I was lucky my parents had the money to get me to a good school like that.

Not only from the way he converses but also with the introspective nature he approach the question of fear.
I am not sure if I would be able to identify abstract fears at his age (guessing between 7-9). I certainly wasn't mature enough to identify that fear and then have a conversation about it.
Dude is going to man a great signing engineer when he is older.

Facing your fears is so important. I used to be afraid of public speaking but after getting on stage over and over, I am now totally comfortable doing stand up to empty bars on weekday afternoons!

What a perfect timing! This video pops up when I am contemplating why do I have so much fear (just received a review from a journal for one of my submitted paper, and got so scared to open it). The little boy who said that we have to face our fear makes me motivated to at least open the email. And I am crying over what he said that fear is natural and that we have to face it in order to conquer it. Thank you!!!!
In each video a saw, I get more impressed about how we can learn with the kids. They really have the power to save this world. We should all pay more attention and respect what they have to say 🙌🏾❤️🇧🇷
