i just love how polite they are! i live in the west part of germany and basically everyone is swearing at least a little bit, like dumb and damn and stupid arent even considered swearwords, at least thats my experience
I mean they are not in general, those are just some kids with various levels of knowledge and 'innocence'
I think it’s sweet, they might not be considered curses but words like “stupid” and “dumb” are ableist and not nice. It makes sense to me that parents these days would teach kids those are “bad words” to say!
@@justkelly2 Bruh stupid and dumb aren't ableist because most people who are called that aren't disabled or aren't forced to be like that because of a disability. It just generally feels bad to be called that, that's why it's considered bad.
When we were kids, our parents taught us those were swear words and I know my other elementary school friends were taught the same for the most part...I lived in a suburb in the American Midwest. Very "christian" perhaps. (we were a Muslim immigrant family, but that's neither here no there) I remember tattling on my brother calling someone stupid at age 10 by spelling out the word to my father😅

This has to be one of my favorite videos. Kids perceptions on the terms we use, how they've seen them used, and how they choose to use them is always fun and enlightening. All of them at least admit to saying curse words in their heads or under their breath😂
This was a great episode! Most kids curse around their friends all the time anyway. I know my kids do and as long as there's no racial slurs or homophobic stuff I'm fine with it as long as it's not in front of adults

Oh my god kids are so intelligent. Cursing is actually bad for the environment.. spiritually if we spread negativity and hate it all radiates to our surroundings and makes everyone feel bad. Kids are the purest souls and they know cursing is not good.
