That is gorgeous .I didn't know you could mix the melt and pour with a mixer. You just taught me something. I new to this. Ty soooo much! I'm going to try this tonight 👍 New friend here I rung that door bell
Love the technique and they are so pretty, I have used my heat gun in short blasts when i have whipped my m & p for toppings, one I have scooped it on top, just to melt very slightly to put my embeds on to secure them, it just gives me a bit more control, it has got me out of some sticky situations lol, thank you, I love this

+Koala Soap You're welcome Anna.
I can never get my MP to whip well, great job!!
Hi, just found your channel as I'm a complete new bee to soap making and I'm in awe of your designs ( some day😉😉!!!) Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. I did make my first very basis Melt & Pour a few days ago, which I was delighted with, but I find the soap takes a while to lather up and I see the color running off when I use - is that normal ? Appreciate any advise, thanks
The color running off will depend on the colorant that you are using. I find that the lather may be dependent on the base you are using. if you go to the melt and pour soap boards on FB, there may be some tips for you.
I would suggest using a spatula instead of a metal spoon for mixing and scraping.
Love it !!! I was looking how to decorate my melt and pour soap. This is fantastic!!! How many ounces did you use for the frosting?
Hi when you whip the top it doesn't set as firm as the soap it's self is that right ?
Superb..
The clear soap gets hotter faster. Wait till the clear reaches 99° before pouring it on the white soap. That's why it melted into the white red soap
How much peppermint essential oil should we add in 100 gms?
Couldn't see the end enough...darn.
So there is a way to make melt and pour thicker. Just whisk it?
Advice please ! Every " stained glass " colorant I can find, says it bleeds or migrates. 2 questions.... Did this bleed into the white and secondly, if it bleeds/migrates and micas usually don't, can you use mica for the main color and stained glass for the embeds, without fear of it bleeding into the mica ? ( Am thinking of doing a school soap, colors are black and gold, was thinking about doing AC as the bar color, and use a yellow stained glass as ball embeds. I was wanting the embeds to be transparent ) Any help sure is appreciated !
Great video I would just suggest a better camera for video quality
Hepsini sabun bazıylami yapıyorsunuz
How do you melt the soap down and how long if you dont mind me asking? Love the soap
Put it in the microwave and microwave 15 to 20 second bursts but keep an eye on it and check it so it don't burn.
I made it but the foam we put on the top remains soft what to do
Fantastic! Did you add the Titanium Dioxide yourself in the soap base or you bought the soap with that included in it?
This was goats milk melt and pour. The base is already white. I did not need to add any TD. 😃
Can I use a hand blender for this?
Hi Kristine, I think you can but, you may have to hand mix longer.
What's the time interval between the pour of the bottom layer and the middle?
Depends on how hot you poured. Maybe a safe timeline about 15 minutes. 🌻
@@koalasoap8435 Thanks, I've started waiting at least 15-20 and using a spoon to slow down the pour helps too I think.
👍
Does your soap sweat after you reheat your melt and pour? Royalty Soaps has made a statement to never reheat melt and pour. So I was just wondering if that was a problem for you.
You can heat it. Heating, re heating, re reheating... no problem at all. If the base has not crossed it's shelf life, you can use it any time you want. There is always some extra base remain in a soap making process. Keep the extra in a container and use it next time. 👍👌🤝
Nivedita Mitra wow! I did reheat it several times. And it does sweat! I do like her designs though. Lesson learned.
Can I use bentonite clay for color?
You can but you need to make sure it gets evenly distributed in the soap. I add clays at a cooler temp so that it disburses easier. it may settle to bottom.
Why don't you like to swirl? Love this vid.
I love this! I emailed you about a week ago, but you didn't respond so I'm wondering if you got it? I sent it to koalasoapco (I think) - is that still your email? Awesome video - another fantastic soap I plan to emulate with my own spin. (I run your videos the whole time I'm attempting the soap.) Thank you for helping Newbie Soap Nation! ❤
Hi! Did you put your soap in a freezer before you unmold? Looks nice?
No freezer, I just unmolded it after a few hours. Thanks for your kind words. 🌸
When is it ready to use?
24-26 hours after unmolding.
Thank you.
With Silicone molds you don't need to. Plastic molds it helps considerably, freeze about 30 min and it pops right out.
What temperature do you start pouring? I've been making soap for a couple months and I always get it too hot or to cold. I can't find a video that tells me what temp
Luna, just hold your pot tightly. If u can hold it then it's the right time. Matter of practice. Otherwise use a thermometer like Anna. In other videos Anna repeatedly says about the temperature to pour. Actually it depends on the type of the base. Ask your manufacturer what's the melting point of their base. Don't hesitate. They can help u. Every manufacturer, 's base is different. So it's better to consult them first. And lastly... your experience with it.
@@adogcalledkuttus thank you😁
@@lunablue1062 welcome. 😊 pour very slowly, seperate the skin on top. If the base turns hard, again melt and wait to cool down.
It's called titanium dioxide not oxide
Hi, how long do you cure your melt and pour soap and how do you pack them?
Hello, I let them sit for about 24 hours. I then wrap them to avoid sweating. I use 6x6 shrink wrap. I will do a video on the wrapping shortly. 💮
Melt and Pours do not need to cure
What is a good temp to start pouring?
Hi Heidi, for the crafters choice melt and pour I try to pour around the 120's or even slightly lower. I have been able to get it to about 115 before pouring. Happy Holidays. ⛄
How do you get your MP soap to be so liquidy? Do you melt your soap in the microwave or over a double boiler.
You can use either. I have done both.
@@koalasoap8435 I've tried melting it in the microwave but it started to harden so quickly. I couldnt do anything with it
It drives me nuts you don't scrape the measuring cups or pitchers out lol!
