Geologist Dr Brooke Johnson unboxes the Jurassic Ammonite Hildoceras which he found during recent fieldwork around Whitby, UK. He left the fossil with local fossil shop Natural Wonders to be prepped professionally.

If you ever get the chance to visit the Whitby area, ammonites like this are pretty easy to find.

I know, so well preserved. Fossils like this are very common where I grew up. We have lots of Belemnites, bivalves, crinoids, brachiopods, plant fossils, vertebrate bones and vertebrate footprints too. Videos coming soon!
