Great vid once again! Greetings from Greece *.*
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Bonjour from Belgium.
Very enjoyable video. More detail would be appreciated in further videos. Also the complex subject of flints, chert, chalcedony etc would be a good topic with much misinformation present at the moment.
I've got a video on silica minerals that touches on these topics. But I can certainly also do a more focused one on the micro quartzes for you.
I like very much this kind of info, thank you, next time please wear a microphone or something, can barely hear what you're saying.
The mic crapped out during recording so I had to use the camera audio. 😔
Why do sandstones stick to my skin when my skin is moist and the stone is dry, but it wont stick if the stone is wet and my hand is dry?
do the video in the cave is very atmospheric but not so easy to hear!
great content though
If you think that's hard to hear, you should have heard it before I processed it to remove most of the echo. 😅
@@geologyjohnson7700 I picked up the synco wireless microphone for about £80 and really good outside and in, worth the investment
Nice! I tried a cheap one but it was terrible. I've got a rode wireless one now and it seems to be working fine.
Oof, that reverb, bro. I saw that your mic crapped out and that sucks but still. You can hang a blanket behind yourself to cut out the worst of it. Unfortunately this looks like crap so you're limited to voice overs.
Also when trying to remove echoes, you're inevitably going to lose a lot of the non-echo speaking. That makes it VERY difficult for someone with an auditory disorder (like me!) to understand you.
Sometimes it's better just to scrap what you've got and start over.
I can empathise, I also have an auditory disorder. Sound damping is not an option for various reasons. Gotta make do with what I've got for now. I can always improve next time. :)
