Well i am irish and gaelic football is the national sport and most popular in terms of attendance. However its become almost unwatchable as a spectacle. So i would agree that IRS is better ,because it couldn't possibly be worse although recent rule changes might improve it.

Watching this in 2020 it makes me think that this could be a great game again. Contrary to what some people say, the fights and late hits from series of old didn't bring in fans. Ya, some people loved the fights, but it was reaching a point where they were becoming nasty and genuinely vicious. That's a different world to a bit of spontaneous argy-bargy. Since then, they've cleaned it up. I also think that both organisations have done a good job bringing players who are suited to this type of game. But I do think that it still needs its marque players to truly bring the fans back.

It's not related to rugby at all. This a cross between two different sports, Gaelic Football from Ireland and Aussie Rules Football from Australia. It allows the best players from both sports/countries to have an international match against each other.
