The final video is up now! czcams.com/video/58PJs4EtmB0/video.html
I was totally expecting that “runaway to Alaska” comment to be metaphorical. My jaw dropped when you actually did! 😂
Me too! I thought that was so funny and I loved it!!
same lol
Same! That runaway to Alaska bit was so funny
And then the “run away to Hawaii” 😂😂😂
Finally! Didn't realise how invested I was in this series until I had to wait over 2 weeks for this haha
REAL
Me too😊😅😊😅
Yes! Your not alone.
Same, dude, same!
I agree
Over the years, I've purchased several puzzles I've seen in Karen's videos, and more are on the wish list. This one, not so much. If it's hard for Karen, it would probably take me the rest of my natural life to finish it!
the board moving all over the place at 16:23 was my favorite part
19:50 We weren't underestimating the puzzle, maybe we were having faith in your abilities. 💙
"Isn't it crazy how they named an entire state park after a drag queen?"
I love you so much for this - when I saw the sign, Denali from Drag Race was my first thought, too. Now I finally get her name. TIL. 😀
My new guess for your finishing time would be 74 hours and 35 minutes now
I hope you get well soon! 🤧
I thought it was a dry cleaner. That's what I heard.
Wow that footage of Alaska was totally unexpected. What an awesome place. I loved it
It may sound very harsh, but I am sooo glad to see you struggle! I have the same Puzzle and I failed doing it because I started with the edges and I couldn't figure out where each Piece goes. So I stopped trying and the Puzzle is waiting in the cupboard for years! Right now I don't have any space to do such a big puzzle, but I'm looking forward doing it in the future, using your "tips" during your videos! Thank you!
I feel validated watching you use your phone flashlight/torch to spot slight colour shifts and pattern changes! 🔦🧡
It's been so cloudy in LA that it's necessary!
@@KarenPuzzles Same here in London! 💂♀
Omg me too 😂 I do this and it drives my husband nuts. But sometimes you just NEED it!
That Alaska bit threw me off guard :D Sometimes taking a step back is great. It's needed. I often find myself thinking "I can do this!" but as time progresses I grow more frustrated and just can't see the pieces clearly. Taking a step back, focus on other things, it helps.
"Isn't it funny how they named an entire city after a drag queen?" SCREAMING 😂💀
@@RandomlyTwitchy Denali is the name of a very cool drag queen who was a contestant on RuPaul's drag race season 13!
My kid and I are working slooowly on your 3000 piece puzzle - so excited for this installment!
I love that!
Me too! My girlfriend and I only have about 500 pieces left and it’s so hard to not work on it while she’s as work lol
My guess is 71 hours 42 minutes. Keep going, you can do it! That missing piece is giving me anxiety though! I’m new to puzzling, and there are always pieces I can’t find and am convinced are missing, but they always turn up in the end 😅
By the end of the video I had a hunch it's not the only missing piece. One of the red squares is not complete yet, and there's like 4 spaces for red-looking pieces and I doubt there's that many hidden in that sky pile
I like using trays and laying pieces out in one layer. When I did your 3000 piece puzzle, I didn't have enough trays and didn't want to spend much money for more. I went to the dollar store and bought several cookie sheets for $1.25 each. Those worked like a charm.
Honestly Karen I really like the small intermission of your trip to Alaska. I’d love to see other things you do as a break from the puzzle. As always, what a great video. ❤
It is so much better watching you go crazy instead on me and more fun too.
I like this series (puzzle) because it is not something I would ever try and seeing you put it together is so amazing.
Sorry you got sick on your trip, hopefully you got to enjoy some of it.
my favorite thing about you flashing back to 2009 is seeing you doing the same things with the box lids and foam boards! old habits die hard 😂❤
The sound of the puzzles clacking is very satisfying ❤
I’m staying with my 75-hr guess! :)
😂 I literally said out loud "I have that exact same Wolf Puzzle!" ❤😂
My guess for finish time is 82 hours and 23 minutes!
But I hope you finish sooner because spending that much time staring at various shades of black and purple sounds crazy!
lol the cardboard sliding 16:30
Welcome back from your vacation from the internet! It's always so fun to watch you puzzle, especially when it's a beautiful giant puzzle like this one!
I love this channel. Never a lame upload. So much time and content in each video. My guess is 75 hours and one minute.
My first guess was 49 hours. Yes I underestimated all that sky🥴my second guess is 67:21. Watching you tackle this puzzle inspired me to finally take out a few puzzles I’ve been putting off. Only 1000 each, but one was all birds and was larger than the table I was working on, used poster boards and thought of your over sized puzzle. “You can do it”😂🤣❤️
It would be really cool if you set this puzzle in resin and turned it into a table top. That way, you could keep it together and remember it as the first huge puzzle you did. And you'd have a dining table big enough for puzzling properly.
What a cool idea!
I hate the idea of putting puzzles together just to break it apart again lol i dont even do puzzles but if i did I'd want to keep them all intact
I do still belive my last guess is as close as I'll get, but I'm feeling optimistic today so let's say 68 hours and 46 minutes. I will be majorly impressed if you managed to get below 70 hours though, I could spend a lifetime on that puzzle and never finish it 🤣
Every time I watch you puzzle, I get so taken aback by the fact that you do it all one handed 😂
Damn that Alaska bit threw me off so much. What a pleasant surprise!!
I’m going to be doing my first 5000 piece puzzle ever! It’s getting shipped this Tuesday so I’m so excited!
I love the interlude, with all the smiles and pointing. XD
*run away to hawaii* lmao i had to pause the video because i started laughing so hard
You got me so good with Hawaii! 😂❤
I love your humor. When you mentioned going to Hawaii but really didn't, was so cute!
Everything is so much larger than I envisioned it. I just can’t comprehend the dimensions of a 9000 price puzzle. I’m thoroughly enjoying watching you solve it because I will never tackle something like this! My guess is 78h 43m. I’m thinking the solid pieces are going to be very time consuming.
Ok let’s say 64 hours and 34 minutes. An amazing achievement and the puzzle is going to look incredible. Great videos as always Karen👍
Omg, here we go. Let's see how you did Karen. I swear my guess is gonna be wrong 😂
88 hours and 12 minutes. That sky looks absolutely brutal!
73 hours and 48 minutes! That sky looks brutal!!
This puzzle is so beautiful. I'm having fun watching you piece it together!
The brief sunlight timelapse at the 30 minute mark was neat. Glad you got some time away and hope you're feeling better. New guess will be 64 hr 40 min.
I loved watching this video Karen - you made such headway with the puzzle, even when you weren't feeling 100% ..... oh and jetsetting off to Alaska - how wonderful!! Can't wait for the next instalment. 🥰
Yay, you're back! So sorry you were sick, but very pleased that you are recovering. 💐
Loved the Alaska break. Can't wait for part 4. You can do it!
Just finished your meta puzzle like a week ago and it was so fun and surprisingly easy can’t wait watch this video and see your progress
Haven't watched the video yet but SOO glad you're back and doing well! Watching this is exactly what I need right now! 🥰
I'm feeling 78 hours and 21 minutes, that sky looks BRUTAL. Loving this series!
I love this puzzle series!!
Wow this puzzle is something else!I say 78 hours. Those Alaska pictures were so awesome and beautiful!Glad you are feeling better!
When you said that you go to Alaska I expected it as a joke bit when I saw the footage I was shocked that's why it took more weeks to release the video
I LOVE fitting big sections in. Welcome back Karen 😊
I’ve been checking your account everyday hoping for another video. So glad it’s finally here!
This is one INSANE puzzle!
Seeing the cardboard bounce up and down at 1:30 gave me such anxiety :D
No spillage in this video!
Such a beautifully edited video. A joy to watch.
I want you to know that the trip jokes were extremely funny and I loved them!
The sound of the puzzle pieces being put in place in the time lapse is just so satisfying!!!
I think it's so cute you're still taking family vacations 🥺
69 hours 17 minutes - that sky looks like an absolute killer. You were flying through the first sections so quickly that i underestimated how hard the edge would be and just how much is all this dark colour!! Hang in there - you've got this!!
What a roller coaster this episode was. Glad you’re feeling better🥰
If I weren't already subscribed the drag reference woulda got me 😂
OMG your Alaska segment was GORGEOUS!
So sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Being sick is bad enough but being sick on vacation is so much worse. Glad to hear you're doing better though!❤ I watched your other giant puzzle series after every video was released, so I could play them back to back. Watching everything in real time, waiting for every video to be released... Not going to lie, my patience is being tested😅 But don't feel pressured please, this puzzle looks really effing hard, so it's totally understandable you're taking your time with filming and editing!
I love watching the timelapses bc from certain angles you look like you’re eating the pieces
That's a new comment I've never gotten before.
Yay! Love your massive puzzle series. My first video I watched was your 24,000 puzzle
That one was way easier than this one!
When you said Hawaii I freaked out. I thought you were actually going on vacation again
So glad you're out having fun, Karen! Breaks are important❤
“The lion is complete”
Me, a Leo: *sighs in relief*
Ok watching the sun move over the puzzle at 30:00 was soooo pretty. I love puzzles but i have a feeling i would not do a puzzle that intense. ❤ feel better! Glad you feel better!
Love watching you puzzling, but that vacay vid midway was amazing! Sorry to hear you got sick. Love the vids!
Love this series 🎉 wow that is so beautiful, it’s amazing you went to Alaska!!
I sadly do not recall my time guess. But I’ll make another 78 hours and 30 minutes!
Ur a trooper so sad you got sick, but you puzzled through! 8 hours in one day wow…
Loved the foam board shifting as you worked on placing pieces at 16:23
Yeah, I’m not going to guess since my last guess was wayyyy off!!!
Keep it up, hun!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This series has been so fun!
Love the titles to each of the time segments. ❤
I did my first puzzle competition yesterday, inspired by your videos. It was fun.
I got inspired and ordered a 5k piece puzzle after your first video (it already doesnt fit my table, 9k is simply impossible) and im slowly getting it done! Its the solar system, im in love with it
My sister and I did an eight day Alaskan cruise in 2022 it was so beautiful! This year we are going to Scotland for our sisters trip.
I think it is so cool you went to Alaska! Can you share more about your experience
I was waiting for this, but honestly: glad you got your Alaska holidays in!!
Wow, it is a proper marathon! 83hrs 76mins is my new guess. Good luck.
Your dedication to puzzling is so impressive! I also like that you know when you require a break, and you blend life into your puzzling by going on family vacations, while still bringing your focus back to your puzzles. This puzzle is certainly quite the behemoth. It's significant that you would have done this once in a lifetime, yet to go through it a second time is all the much more impressive. I don't have a guess on your final time, but I do hope that you come away from this w/ a feeling of accomplishment, b/c you certainly deserve it.
So glad you feel better! Thanks for such an enjoyable video.
Woohoo! This video was definitely worth the wait. Not only did I get Karen puzzling but I got Karen in Alaska! Sorry you were sick and didnt get to experience some of it! Going to Alaska is on my things today in the next 10 years so maybe one day. Lastly, I will revise my initial time and guess it will take you 92 hours and 18 minutes. The rest of the sky looks terrifying! We are all here rooting you on though!! Thank you Karen. 😊
I've done a constellation puzzle before and part of my strategy was pretty similar - pair up the big stars and build up the lines joining them. It was only a 1000 piece and had a much more distinct blue-purple gradient so it was much less painful xD
You did an amazing job solving that puzzle
Take care, I hope you are feeling even better now. Loved the video.
Glad to see you're back at it and that you took some well-deserved time off. I haven't seen you do some regular (non-vintage or giant or super challenging) puzzles in a while. Don't forget to enjoy your work. No more code words?
When you were resorting the pieces, I quickly saw a couple of missing red pieces. This has been such a fun series! My guess is 78 hours and 15 minutes.
I'm guessing 93 hours! Hope you're feeling well! Love from Brazil
You have the patience of an angel
You're doing fantastic 👍😊
So I found a beautiful Eaton puzzle at my local goodwill so of course I picked it and was able to do my first Eaton puzzle and it was so fun with the unique piece shapes!! I thought of you when I found it so thanks for all the great content! Also I love these giant puzzle videos
I love watching these videos! And when you actually went to Alaska I was like 🤯
37:22 you got me, I was rooting for you to take another holiday for your sanity 😄.
It looks like the trip to Alaska was incredible! I’m so sorry that you got sick and couldn’t enjoy it as much as you wanted to, but I’m glad that you’re on the mend now. Rest up, give yourself some fun breaks by doing some easier puzzles in between cosmic sky sessions, and we’ll look forward to seeing your epic triumph soon! My guess as to the final time is 71 hours, 13 minutes. I quail just thinking about all those dark coloured, barely distinguishable colours, but we have faith in your abilities and determination. Onward and upward! You’ve got this! 🍀
The wolf puzzle looked so cute, would luv to see more of it!
I talk about it in my new video on Patreon 🙂
What an AMAZING video, Karen!!!
I'm so happy to see you ! I'd love to thank you for how much you inspired me ! I've finished a 2000 pieces puzzle (which was really hard because most of the sky was pure blue, it took me like ,days haha) and i am now working on a 1000 one (a mario challenge puzzle) an i know it's only two puzzles but still, I never though i had that much fun puzzling before seeing your videos ! Thanks a lot !!
I'm so happy you had fun with them!
@@KarenPuzzles i really did, thank you ! Have a great day ✨
I received a murder mystery for lending at a library in Lisbon Maine last Wednesday afternoon. The librarian told me that patrons who go there can get a jigsaw puzzle and/or a book. The title is recipe for murder. So far it’s a tough challenge. I got another at a thrift store in Lewiston Maine on Friday with a friend of mine. The title is grounds for murder. Both puzzles are 1,000 pieces and the brand is bepuzzled a maker of university games. Both are made in 2020. Each puzzle is 23 x 29 inches. The tricky thing is you read the story and the image is completely different than the cover. If you want to cheat, take the story and read it with a mirror and electric lamp table, wall and vanity lights. I had a tough time reading the solution with a bathroom light and mirror. I had a hard time with keeping the book still in front of me. I already started a murder mystery jigsaw puzzle in itself. Don’t worry I read the story first. Best of luck finishing the zodiac jigsaw puzzle
