From one dyslexic to another, well done, young man.
This video was very well done, and the fellow in it certainly had a mindful purpose in learning to read.
I'm not sure that this fellow, or myself at 70 years-old, waited until we had the time to learn, or if the opportunity to learn presented itself through the internet, and/or other existing dyslexia programs that came to our attention possibly by accident?
I know when I realized that the "sounds" of the "Hieroglyphic" A-Z Alphabet, and not the "letters" that I was taught in school, was how we spelled a word, then, and only then, did things for me start getting in some form of a "Weak Reading/Spelling Order".
It was years after that, when I was diagnosed as a Dyslexic, by Dr. J. Wilson, and the nice Doctor, was also kind enough to direct me as to how to deal with my dyslexia in the correct manner.
What bothers me about this fellow's case as to learning to read, and to some degree my own, is all the other fellows out there that are still walking around in a state of dyslexia confusion. Curing dyslexia is tough enough, and the longer some poor dyslexic person has to wait to start dealing with it, only compounds their problem.
I would hope that some national dyslexic discovery program be designed and put in place so there's hope for all dyslexics, wherever they may be located.
