Barroth in this game was a pain in the ass, and I loved it for this reason.

The post hunt (quest clear) theme song is what sticks with me throughout the years and is still the best out of all the series with FU being the second.
This arena experience takes me back. Love the soundtrack. Best one of all the arenas I experienced. 🙂🐵🎮

Omg I never played that one but it’s amazing to see how the weapon worked back then!
The cool thing I like about LS in older game is it can cut through the monster without any resistance, it feel like an actual sharp blade, not a beat stick like newer MH games.
I remember barroth being the first monster to make me go "ah yeah i love this game"

1:23 such a pain when the brute wyvern just keeps walking and changing direction not doing attacks. Wastes so much time. I can't attack, sharpen, or heal.

mh3u has more weapons, areas, and monsters, plus you dont to be online for high rank

I swear barroth used to be a lot tougher in tri/3U he is now, I remember him being a wall in tri, would love for him to be that difficult agien he deserves it, would also like the games to be harder overall but that's a different conversation lol

It looks almost like it played like a greatsword without the charging, no counters, no nothing. Was it only the same spirit combo you could use to do serious damage ? Seems pretty simple and repetetive but- as always- when YOU wield it it looks amazing AF
LS was split from GS, GL from Lance, DB fron SnS, and HH from Hammer. When you go back you see more of the original weapon, even this LS was weird for having the white, yellow, and res spirit guage it used to just be fill up bar and use spirit combo (filling it up granted more damage and it stops depleting) without even having the round slash attack. It didnt need counters cause it had fade slash and the monsters were slower. Great weapon to play back then as it was a good speed for good damage
LS playstyle back then was "hit and not get hit" no counters just positioning and evasion that's why Peppo prefer old gen LS.

Considerando che questo è stato il mio primo MH, quindi c'è l'ho nel cuore, ma mi chiedo, come mai questo cambio di rotta da sunbreak al tri? :D anyway bella run, e condivido la cosa sul barroth, la prima volta che lo feci ci misi una vita, e anche le volte successive, era davvero un bel fight, poi lo hanno indebolito parecchio tra world e rise ma vabbe! GG comunque

as much as MHTri barroth sucked, i still love it
So basically to summarize
Classic MH: Slow Hunter & Slow Monster
Moderm MH: Fast Hunter & Fast Monster
Rise Exclusive: Vertical expansion for Hunter & Projectiles from Monster
What is hard ? It's all balanced TBH...
Classic MH is better for chill play, modern MH better for flexing
That's all about it, there's not much difference in the core souls of it
Nothing against you playing it peppo but this is what veterans brag about 😂 no graphics no moves yeah it's a false logic I now believe 😂 do anything to say the olds are better even if they are way worse
