Wow, this camera takes some amazing quality videos. It is incredible to see how far the technology has come over the years.
SONY PLEASE - > Put an audio jack in the actual body (not the just the top handle). This would make the camera much more versatile for run-gun / gimble / compact use.

I am a ZCam f6 owner (coming from the sony ecosystem) I'm looking forward to compare picture quality against this little beast. So far, no camera on the sub 6k price range has made me change from Zcam. The pictures coming out of that little cube is gorgeous! It made me give up the auto focus from canon and sony. With that being said, this FX6 looks like the complete package! I'm looking forward to compare those two. We preorder a few for our Church production!

1.May you help me how to unlock menu Thumbnail on Sony FX6, about to transfer some clips to FTP? I readed all book instructions with camera set but without success.
2. I took a short video on a green screen and the footage came out unexpectedly pale, what could be the reason and how to fix it. I lit the stage with two light sources for the screen and the actor.

Please Sony, please add a 4k long gop codec in 10bit... also a touch tracking function very much needed ... i bought both the fx6 and a7siii and the fx6 lacks these features and it is a deal breaker for me ... 8 bit codecs should be a thing of the past

Wouldn't it be neat if Sony made a build-up kit complete with all the controls from a cinema camera to add on to the a7S III so you can have the compactness of that stills camera when you want to travel light and then a full-featured camcorder when you need something more complete?
A shoulder rig and an XLR adapter can only get you so far. I'm also talking about the full range of buttons and a built-in ND filter.
Or does that just not make good business sense? I know Sony made an ENG build-up kit for the FS7, but they could go one step further and essentially convert the a7S III into a camera like the FX6 and/or FX9, and then that camera could also benefit from the ENG kit if necessary.
They will never do it, because so they would canibalize Fs lineup

@@parasinthephilippines I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I'm saying what I would want is the ability to take a hybrid camera like the a7S III and use that entire camera as the brain to build a more complete cinema camera around it and then be able to remove it from that setup and use it on its own. It's sort of like putting a stills camera on a shoulder rig but with a lot more functionality and buttons that would come from a cinema camera...so you don't have to decide whether to buy a hybrid camera or a cinema camera. Think of it as a camera docking station.

Warum schafft ihr es in dieser Kamera 16 bit Raw über SDI auszugeben, während ich für meine doppelt so teure FX9 ein zusätzliches Modul kaufen muss, was die Kamera unnötig klobig und für Gimbals so gut wie unmöglich macht? Denkt doch bitte mal darüber nach, bei Eurem nächsten Firmware Update 16 bit Raw über SDI auch für die FX9 freizuschalten! Alles andere wäre blanker Hohn!
Guys, just **** add a Base iso indicator in the A7SIII, math is not fun when I'm working in the cold
FS 5 user here, if you Set the camera to use Gain (instead of ISO) in the settings, 0 dB Gain will always be the base ISO of that particular picture profile and shooting mode. Im fairly sure the A7s iii has that setting as well, though I don't know for sure.

Gj with selling your own shitty sd card form factor. Its 2020, let me use my m.2 or at least my 2,5“ drives! 1tb is so cheap nowadays... this is like apple but with extra steps..

FX6 vs C70. Full frame, 12G SDI with raw output, Venice color, Variable ND, Full size XLR. All these for $500 more. I see no reason to get C70.
When Sony is willing to cannibalize its FX9, you know they are out to kill the competitors.
Unfortunately like much of sony imaging tec this pushes red not a fan.
XLRs are the handle is a MASSIVE disappointment.
If at least it had a 3.5mm jack input on the body itself... I hope there will be an accessory in the future to have XLRs in another place than on the handle (considering that the handle is itself only connecting to a port on the camera).

It looks like a camcorder from the 90'. Especially that handle is really ugly. That's a huge turn off for me. Not buying untill and unless you Sony do something about the handle design.
Disappointed, in body display much needed.
Its absent to keep size compact. If you want a display go with the bigger fx9. That's why there's options.
@@GodPill display is essential while using on gimbal apart from that it's 10/10. That's only reason enough to skip. Good for few filmakers.

I've never seen such an ugly looking presentation video for such an amazing camera! Come one Sony... is this really what you got? Terrible lighting, horrible slides etc.. You should hire some one to make a good demo... But I'll still buy it...
