    You are not a mechanic just like you are not a carpenter. Great job.

    Kevin a trick I came up with is I use a scissor jack or bottle jack and place behind things and press them off. Also if rotor gets stuck can use same trick, but rotors also have a threaded hole that you can tread a steel screw into to press rotor off. Your a metal guy you could make a plate to atta h to lugs for leverage with jack

    Thanks for making this video! Thorough and well explained. Planning to do this repair myself soon.
    Two questions, what size socket is needed to remove the hub bolts?
    I noticed you painted the trailing arm. Is there a special kind of paint you used to do that?

    • @Robinson-Homestead
      @Robinson-Homestead  Před 2 měsíci

      I just used a rustoleum paint and sorry i don't remember the bolt size but hope it all goes good for you.

      @@Robinson-Homestead Thanks again, the repair went great!
      For others to reference: The hub bolts required a 17mm socket.

    I've done a lot of jobs that I just can't get done. I have to walk away and do something else, then when I come back, I figure it out and finish.
    Sometimes walking away from a job helps a lot.

    Kevin, you really go after a problem with all your might and solve it.
    I have a question, what is that anti zis? I don't know how to spell it and would like to look into that for my son in law to have. Thank you, and my admiration to you.

    One thing I don't like is ABS and ESC and other nonsense we don't need. Much like TPM system all that junk.

      If they just sold a car with cruise control, keyless entry and air conditioning that's all I need. I don't even care about air bags. Everytime people hit me the air bags didn't even deploy.
