When unofficial Lego companies make better figures than actual Lego:

They do make it better in terms of design but in playability the original is way better for kids.
The material used looks like trash compared to Lego’s precision machining of molds
@@someannoyingcommentator I don’t mind some very specific parts like a custom helmet, weapon, chestplate, etc (basically areas that default bricks can’t fulfill) but when off brand parts are used as the main building system, that’s when I make a hard pass. For instance the rule for me is that the mini fig head, torso, and legs always need to be og Lego but all the other accessories are fine of their quality is good

The helmet seems to be a combination of the old and new Vader helmet.

If only his cape and... whatever around his legs were made of cloth, he'd be perfect!
But I still like him just the same!
I think it would be perfect with a few more improvements: the front and back bits of the belt on the 3d torso piece were attached to a standard Lego belt piece, like what they use for Batman but black and the Vader belt bits replacing the 3d details on the belt, the "cod" piece being with attached to the belt or another leg accessory, chest box was connected to the torso or attached to the torso using a couple small magnets so it won't end up twisting, the stud bits on the chest armor weren't there, chest armor is a separate part from the 3d torso piece, the bits for the robe and the base suit weren't there, and the mask of the helmet wasn't as wide so it could be used on the official Lego base piece for the helmet. If all of these happened along with a cloth cape that drapes over the arms like it does in the movies, and a cloth robe that can go over or under the chest armor and goes all the way around, and isn't cut off by the belt, then it would be perfect.

All around extremely nice love the sheer amount of detail as well ALTHOUGH I would prefer it if the cape and leggings were cloth as the plastic versions of these severely limit mobility of the character

What I appreciate is the extra pieces making the mini figure taller than average Lego mini figures, which is a great detail since Darth Vader’s height increased when his new legs were installed.

The helmet on this figure is more Lego-proportionate than the official one, It looks better now.

Minifigs are mass produced, and lego can’t really pay for custom molds like this, especially with licensing fees and such.
Well maybe it's because of the chestplate, the cape, and the skirt piece. It's not something a normal figure would have

If it wasn't for the plastic waist cape and the cape, this figure would've been god tier competitor against Lego's own Darth Vader Minifigures.
All that gear would also make the figure taller than others, for a more authentic look.

Its from a brand called WM Blocks in China. Dont remember the product number, but if you google it you should be able to find it easy
It doesn't look like Lego anymore and the cape and waist cape should be cloth that would look much better and the figure can move better better
I would use the battle damaged body or the bacta minifigur because this is how he looks under the Armour

The reason he doesn't want to place his feet on the base is because he hates being stuck to the floor, it means he can never have the high ground
At least these guys put the waist cape on him, lego didn’t bother with the waist cape
yeah they made a cape but its plastic so u have to disassemble the figure to make it sit if ur making an animation with it or playing with it

For anyone wondering I found it myself: if you’re in the UK it’s on Etsy just type in Darth Vader V2 Lego. I brought a couple of figures such as Death troopers and 2005 style clone troopers and am happy with the quality.

This should be a limited edition single mini figure. It has a more "complete" look then the Lego branded Darth Vader figures.
Not gonna lie, it's way better and more accurate than the official lego Darth Vader. Two reason it bothers me, that the cape and skirt are plastic instead of fabric.

Only imperfections are the breathing ventilator doesn’t fit perfectly like the Lego one and I will admit I prefer the Lego Vader helmet I would use every thing else just the Lego helmet and breath piece
