- Rysy 2499m is a peak of High Tatras, which is a smallest alpine mountain range of the world.
We have hiked on the officialy highest accessible mountain by foot for hikers in High Tatras.
Rysy has three summits, two of them are on the Slovak side of the border. The one one the polish side is the highest summit of Poland.
starting at Štrbské pleso and passing Chata pod Rysmi, a mountain chalet at an altitude of 2250m (7,380 ft), open during the summer season. This hit is also the highest located hut in the High Tatras.
We have hiked about 3and half hours.. on the signs there's about 4and half hours to do it.. just for imagination. Difficulty is T4, T4 mostly because of the scrambling part under the summit, very good prepared hiking trails.

I'm new to your channel. A Hiker/Biker myself. Love it tremendously. Those Grats you did are awesome and are completely out of my league. I won't dare to go on those blue trails you do, but I love them. You confirmed how challenging they are.
Hey! Thanks a lot.. this is the thing.. we like to show how it really is, the exact parts of the hike, without a lot of bullshit.. just simple show it, how it looks like.. if a man can dare to do it.. no one can stands in the way, those ridges are the absolutely the best thing about hiking.. on the ridge you can enjoy the views even longer =) blue trails are in overall not difficult, depends on the experience, because people know about them., the T6 hikes are not marked, that is where the adventure begins..being safe it's the most important things, of course.. so do a lot of research before you go.. our advice to all :) cheers, patrik&teri
