    Hi Bonnie, this seems so beautiful but I can't see the shawl in full, so not sure if I want to make it. It's shown too briefly.

    I like to crochet by fives also, and I break it down into sections of fifty. I place a marker at every fifty stitches so if I get called away from my project I can come back and count by fifty to catch back up. I am living this pattern. I am doing mine in a coral color.

    Thank you for answering my questions, I still don't see where you put your arms through. I love your videos, if I seem repetitive I am sorry, I had trauma to the brain. Unless I see the work up close , then I will understand it. Thank you sue.

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Před 6 lety

      No problem Sue! There actually aren't any armholes. This is simply a stole with a back portion attached. The garment drapes over you like a shawl.

    Hello. I am busy with the back piece and my measurements are out. The width should be around 25" and I have 32". Just to check. I have two sections of woven stitch which are 30 rows each. Which has more rows than on the stole section. Sending love

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Před 7 lety

      Yes, there definitely be more rows on the back section than the stole by design. Did you check your gauge on the woven stitch? This could account for the difference in width. Still, if you don't mind the extra width, this doesn't have to compromise the project. You will just have 7" more of fabric to wrap around the back. I hope this is helpful!

    Hi Bonnie; Love this pattern! Thanks for the video's. I'm crocheting this now. I'm at the end of the back section. I have a question. When completing rows 45 - 86 the pattern then states to repeat rows 3 - 43. Should row 22 be repeated for the ridge? I followed the pattern as instructed. I just found that when row 22 isn't repeated the ridge isn't as prominent as the previous ones. Thanks for the video's Bonnie!

    For this back piece, you have a correction to chain 67 which I did. I am at the end of row 5 which is the arrow section. Problem is I have 4 stitches at the end. Two stitches too many or missing two stitches if I make another set of arrows. If I start all over and make 65 chains instead then it will work out...

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Před 7 lety

      Yes, that can work!

    • @1SEXYQTPI
      @1SEXYQTPI Před 7 lety

      So, I can also chain 69 and the pattern won't be off?

    • @bonnykennedy4857
      @bonnykennedy4857 Před 6 lety

      What I did on row 5 was I only did 1 double crochet at the beginning and then the arrows, at the end of the row you do 1 double crochet. It all should work out.

    Something I noticed, the 1st video said to double crochet in 1st and last 2 stitches. My count didn't work that way. I did 1 in 1st and last dc. I got 16 arrows. Anyone else have this problem, or did I mess up somewhere? Thanks.

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Před 5 lety

      You could be off by one stitch, but I wouldn't worry about it either way Lauren. It is very easy to just make this up should you need to in future row. No now will ever notice this, especially with the perimeter round that is worked at the end.

      It's a little know stitch developed by a crochet designer named Annie Ough, back in the late 1970's. I love this stitch, even though it is a bit different!

      Can you just make the pocket using the woven stitch to match the area where you will be placing it? Can make it any size, just use a multiple of 2 for the starting chain.

      I tried to explain this in the introductory video for this project. The video is correct. When a designer sells a design to a publisher they no longer own it and often times text editors can change the original (and sometimes errors enter in). If you follow the video you should be fine. The corrections are extremely minor.
