Charlie is one of a perfect definition of someone who is passionate about his job. Whilst having no social media, he still knew how the inside and the outside behaves. He knew DD being under Disney now - gonna be a little lighter in mood, explore more humor and probably less violence than the first 3 seasons thus on that moment he figured out how OG fans will react to this and he's honest. With all those years, finally we're having him. I'm so happy seeing his interviews reaching millions of views around YT. He's on the spotlight now. Let's just hope MCU lives up to what the OG series brought. Given the long run of DD, if Moon Knight will be given this chance too... it will be on par.

I want to share Charlie's enthusiasm but I am very concerned about what will happen to Daredevil in the hands of Disney writers. It's like Dr. Malcolm said, they have this immense power in their hands but they wield it like a kid who found his dad's gun.
I believe a while back I heard that they were hiring some of the writers from Daredevil for Echo, so hopefully they'll do the same for the new Daredevil show as well. That would be fantastic.

Warms my heart to see how passionate he is about the character. I am nervous for him... he is a great actor, Daredevil on Netflix was one of the greatest superhero "things" I've ever had the delight to watch and he has an excellent attitude. HOWEVER... I am concerned given Disney's track record as of late.

I watched she-hulk episode 8 just for daredevil (didn't watch any other episode since it's torture) and the only thing that resembles the netflix daredevil is the actor.Sad but at least i got to watch 3 seasons. I can live with it.

Its just the netflix suit with different colour pattern Daredevil should have a comic accurate suit something like Ben Affleck suit but more accurate better made and with a little bit of CGI i couldn't imagine how they pulled off the iridescent Spiderman pants in the last suit if only they could use some effect to create a Daredevil red Spandex suit that iridescent black just like the comics it would be great

It's the original coloring from the early comics. It also ties in with the colors his father wore as a boxer, and also makes sense considering the red suit was kind of sullied in season 3 (if that's kept as part of the backstory). He might get the mostly black suit later, but the gold seems like a good fit for the She-Hulk show; it might just be his west coast suit, since he's got a secret identity and might not be able to bring a suit through the airport undetected.
Agreed. I like it in She-Hulk because her colors are Green and Purple, so the red and yellow contrasts is perfect for that series, but I hope it changes for his new standalone series.
The gold suit looks horrible. It's too loud and goddy and just looks cheesy. All red, red and black, but not yellow. It looks gross. It looked bad in the comics, it looks worse in live action.
I honestly thought the reason Daredevil changed to the all-red costume in the comics is that he got the impression that his original color-scheme was too much of a giveaway of the fact that *he* couldn't see what it looked like. That said, the *gold* and *dark red* color scheme works nicely. It was the medium red and light yellow in the comics that was eye-hurting.

Daredevil and The Punisher were absolutely stellar shows made as good as they were by their excellent casting choices. I am so happy to see him overjoyed here.. but also so sad knowing he got this suit for SHE HULK.
The gold and red has grown on me. I dont think it should be his outfit forever but it is interesting and unique. I think they should have it for born again but then he changes to just red during the show.

That suit never screamed Daredevil sorry
It's the original coloring from the early comics. It also ties in with the colors his father wore as a boxer, and also makes sense considering the red suit was kind of sullied in season 3 (if that's kept as part of the backstory). He might get the mostly black suit later, but the gold seems like a good fit for the She-Hulk show; it might just be his west coast suit, since he's got a secret identity and might not be able to bring a suit through the airport undetected.

Agreed. I like it in She-Hulk because her colors are Green and Purple, so the red and yellow contrasts is perfect for that series, but I hope it changes for his new standalone series.

The gold suit looks horrible. It's too loud and goddy and just looks cheesy. All red, red and black, but not yellow. It looks gross. It looked bad in the comics, it looks worse in live action.
In person, he is absolutely gorgeous

I honestly thought the reason Daredevil changed to the all-red costume in the comics is that he got the impression that his original color-scheme was too much of a giveaway of the fact that *he* couldn't see what it looked like.
That said, the *gold* and *dark red* color scheme works nicely. It was the medium red and light yellow in the comics that was eye-hurting.
I still hope they change to classic red. This looks better than I feared but its still not really best.

Charlie is one of those beautiful cases where he’s so in touch with both the character and the fans who love the character.
I love that he thinks of his fans and how excited he is to reveal everything. He is daredevil as much as hugh jackman is wolverine. Looking forward to hallway scene continued on his show

The gold and red has grown on me. I dont think it should be his outfit forever but it is interesting and unique. I think they should have it for born again but then he changes to just red during the show.
