Mono. You do not viciously break through a door with a giant axe and expect the person on the other side to immediately trust you (seriously it's no wonder she ran off at first lol).
I love how obvious it is that Six has experience in these sort of situations; she knows what she's doing, she's adaptable (I could basically hear the 'well, he doesn't have an axe NOW...' when she first realized she needed help to get the ladder down), and is an old hand at finding tiny obscure escape routes. It's a nice change from having an AI that ONLY copies your movements without much personality. Six is a survivor and it shows.
...also, as much as it's necessity-driven and they're in a situation where one wrong move means death, I can't but find that hand-holding mechanic cute. The buddy system works!
Some questions after watching this:
How did Six get captured given her aforementioned experience in these situations?
How did she lose her powers?
Why is she choosing to help someone else given her, shall we say, "reluctance" to do that in the first game?
And the most important question: How did she lose her raincoat?

@@KalvinEllis I think this game could be a prequel. The app game Very Little Nightmares seems to show who had the coat before her.

@@KalvinEllis Could be that the transmission has a bad affect on her and she got caught off guard. Or she was exhausted. We have no idea what happened after she left the Maw (or even the Nest, depending on when this takes place). She may not have even lost her powers at all and is just weakened. Also, don't forget that Six is a kid. Powers or not she has to have a limit to how much she can handle before she crashes ;)
I wouldn't say she was reluctant to help people so much as helping others survive wasn't all that high on her list of priorities. She was focused on getting herself out and staying alive, in both of the prior games. That being said, she did help out a few Nomes in the Maw and the previous owner of the raincoat before that in the Nest, so it's not THAT out of character for her to help Mono as well (though in the latter case they're helping each other out).
Maybe the Hunter took it or something. We probably won't know until the game actually releases.

True, it's likely made from what once was a person, at least parts of it, but that doesn't mean it's not adorable.

Mmmm, no Runaway Kid and Six would not have an opportunity to befriend each other as both take completely different routes in the maw. I know that Six didn’t know Runaway kid was the nome, but saying that she was sad because Runaway Kid died, is a bit of a stretch, Six was playing it because she felt lonely, she was trapped in the hunter’s house, hence why she is sad and very timid upon the first interaction.

This makes the first game seem so small. It really shows that Six's escape from the Maw was just a small part of a large picture.

13:35 is it just me or did I hear dogs in the background? That would be a really interesting game mechanic, having dogs chasing after you if the hunter can’t reach you in certain areas. Can’t wait to see what happens in the full game!

I LOVE the Hunter’s chase music; those dreadful draws of Celli and Double Basses are just so fitting for him. Their heavy sound is really reminiscent of how clunky he himself seems to be. It’s perfect. And that’s not getting into the overall atmosphere and how exciting the new mechanics are!!!!! I can’t wait!!!!

I agree. The Hunter mechanic of shooting is something I was really liked aside from the Teacher and Broadcaster. I really like some villain introduce on horror game with the exception of using a guns

after playing the first game, it seems that Six puts their own survival first above everyone else's. i don't know what Mono's intentions are for helping them but for Six to survive, they need to work together with Mono and keep them alive too. thats kinda refreshing.

Really? But For me, the runaway kid encountered the lady earlier While Six is still escaping at the 2 chef. Runaway kid became a nome right? And thats how six ate him.
I have a feeling Six is either gonna be the final boss of this game where there will be a point both gets stuck somewhere and starves OR She become the ultimate sacrifice kind where she become the bait for something just to let Mono escape.

I think Mono is gonna die in the ending because of the trailer. I don't know for sure but it did show The Broadcaster grabbing Mono with his hands in the trailer and the screen turns dark. It doesn't look like a death scene (If you fail a QTE for example) to be honest. It actually looks similar to The Lady turning Seven into a Nome in LN1.

I mean it’s definitely possible. There’s a figurine that Tarsier gifted to people at a con (Gamescom of 2019 I think?) it has Six as this long and ghastly figure with Mono. So that might be her final fate.

Ok, so I've noticed that in the Little Nightmares universe, children are always small compared to practically everything. Trees, animals, furniture, adults, you name it, and they're always huge compared to the kids. Which begs the question, were the adults (Janitor, Chefs, Teacher etc.) once as small as the kids?
If so, I myself honestly cannot picture a character like the Butler (from Very Little Nightmares) being a child at all.
So, do the kids who survive to adulthood get increasingly bigger and grotesque as they age? As far as I know, there aren't any teenagers seen in the world yet.
And something I find odd, is that the only child that is actually taken care of, is The Pretender, who lives in a mansion at sea with servants and hundreds of dolls. Is it because her parents are important people and they can afford to keep the Pretender safe from the world? Or is it because of The Pretenders power, the ability to dissolve people that convinced her parents to lock her up to keep the world a little bit safe.
In the hunter's house there is a child who has a normal size compared to the adults in the middle of the table where we can see a taxidermy family of which we can say that in the game world the small children are classified as animals and the monsters bah that's us. Humanity is infatuated.
Honestly, I just think things are shown in distorted proportions to illustrate how a child views the world. Things I used to think were gigantic are at eye level now, and the world completely changes from our perspective as we age and grow.
I mean, look at some of the cupboards, dressers and nightstands. They're literally zigzag and stretched way higher than they need to be. It's all representational, IMO.

Theories about this game are one of my favorite topics, and I will join those who answered you, if you please!
Initially, my thoughts were led to the fact that the LN world is the world that I saw with my own eyes in distant childhood. I, um, how to say, saw a lot of unpleasant things and people who were more like monsters - because of their appearance, their behavior or purpose. In general, this is the first association that comes to mind, it seems to me: "Come on, take a look, isn't this what you were afraid of as a child? Saw in nightmares?"
But then, after going through the first part, I became more thoughtful. To some extent, the actions of Six and the ending of the first part somewhat perverted my first, simplified understanding of what was happening.
From the introduction of the second part it is clear that in their world there are "children" who are more similar to "adults" in their appearance and dimensions, but these small thin figures - barefoot, stooped, hiding their faces - stand completely apart.
What Mono can do and what Six has done does not seem normal. They seem fragile creatures, forever on their last legs, but who ended up losing their arms? Who the hell was eaten?
Little Nightmares is a double-edged story in which the "nightmare" can be as much a big monster as a little creature. And I do not presume to say which of them seems to me more terrible now... The Wolf who tried to eat Little Red Riding Hood, or Little Red Riding Hood, which ate the Wolf.
I just hope Six won't eat Mono when she's hungry (if she even gets hungry in this one). RIP Runaway Kid.

I’m convinced that the children we play as are of a completely different species that everyone else. There’s a “big “kid sitting at the table at 9:04 in the middle. Also, why is everyone dead- I noticed there was lots of stuffing down stairs- are people making themselves into dolls and what not 😂? It seems like everything was at one point really nice, then someone donked it all up.
And it looks like the hunters arm is torn- and I swear I saw the hole in the sack in his head blink.

When you think about it, Mono is kinda similar to the Hunter. They both have paper bags on their heads and both wear trench coats. So no wonder Six ran off; a miniature taxidermist had busted down the door with an axe!

I had an idea that each of the boss enemies will be defeated in different ways, kinda like how the handyman was “disarmed” by the elevator. Let me know what you think:
The Hunter: Will be killed or incapacitated by one of his traps, potentially we could trip him up so he falls onto a bear trap.
The Teacher: The final chase will be through a vent system where we close a door onto her neck (decapitation), like a callback to the Handyman.
The worm thing in the hospital: we haven’t seen that much of it so my only real guess could be dropping it down an elevator shaft or that massive chamber we see with the hanging beds.
The Signal Man: we destroy the tower or whatever is producing the signal and he glitches out and goes static (kinda similar to a comatose state). From what we see in the trailer he is ghost-like.
Any more ideas?
For the Signal Man if Mono and Six can create a power outage it might give them a chance to take down the Signal Man. We'll have to wait and see...

Well The Room that had the cages didn't have any equipment that could cut through the bars. Six Probably wasn't strong enough to break the cages . Six in her mind thinking she didn't have enough time to help as the janitor could come back at any minute. Im not defending the idea of leaving people to die but it's a different world if you make mistakes or luck runs out you die

I’m willing to look at rooms for a long time to figure out things like the marks of days gone by on the wall, the pattern on the music box, the faces of the dolls.
Absolutely love the interaction because it doesn't feel like you are traveling with an AI. Both of you are survivors, but Six seems even more experienced than Mono, as if she's done some things more than once (or she's got nerves of steel, ok).
Music, atmosphere, locations, characters - everything is sustained in the same concentration that so hooked me in the first part of the game.
I am grateful to the developers for such hard work and attention to detail. You guys are fantastic!
