My all time favourite boxer. At times he would keep fighters in the ring to give the fans their money’s worth which is a very dangerous practice. That left rip was ferocious and his hand speed was reminiscent of sugar Ray Leonard. I felt sorry for opponents coz many times they had him on the ropes but sometimes it would be a trap and throw punches from unbelievable angles.
Best boxer at setting traps and always took fights to his opponents

I never saw a fighter like Roy Jones jr in his prime!!! He was from a different planet! It`s hard to imagine Sugar Ray Robinson being any better than Roy. That`s how great Roy was.

Well u have to understand that sugar Ray Robinsons was the beginning of scientific boxing a real trailblazer which means anything after him is a copycat just done at a higher level due to scientic training and conditioning. That why the great Muhammad Ali said he copy sugar Ray
Style and even Roy Jone acknowledges that sugar ray robinson was the greatest
Fighter of all time. And lets not even think
About the number of rounds they fought and in heat of 100 degrees or hotter. No disrespect to our modern day boxers but they couldn't do.

Anything with RJJR, i watch. Such a interesting story with the way he was raised and his interest in rooster fighting. I heard his dad had him spar bigger kids with 1 arm tied behind his back.

They laughed when a man like Roy Jones Jr. says he's ready to die.
It's gose to show how men today has no idea how to understand anothers man's experience in life, other than there own. All roads leads to violence when people care about how they sound quastioning but fearing answers.

this interview shows the greatness off Floyd Mayweather. not even Roy Jones could imagine Floyd shutting manny down and the fact that he did is amazing by doing what no other fighter that manny faced could, which is reduce mannys punch volume

I once surveyed roy's property here in molino, fl ... he was out on a run ... I can't remember the fight he was training for but he stopped to talk to me and my rodman while we were finding/shooting his property pins on quintette road here. He was the nicest person I can imagine ... asked us who we were betting on I used the old line from passenger 57 and he smiled and said, enjoy your money kid.

Hey Sox 73 sugarRayRobinson revolutionize the art of boxing which made him way ahead of his time. Taking nothing away from The Great Roy Jones Jr. Who I admire as one of the greatest boxer of his era. But took a page out of Sugar Ray Robinson book like many after him including the Great Mohammed Ali. No disrespect just saying
