I know I'm late, but Dan, if you ever play this again, here are a few tips:
1: If you salvage an animatronic, it will be roaming around in your restaurant.
2: If you don't salvage anyone, you don't have to worry about anyone.
3: If you buy Nedd Bear, you will have to worry about Afton coming in your restaurant earlier than expected. The salvage is usually the main way of getting him.
4: You should try going from least noisiest to most noisiest while doing your work, so order supplies, do maintenance, and lastly, advertise.
P.S. The person who is saying something in the vents is Afton.

SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want to know all of this, don't press read more!
There are six endings (certificates) in total; completion, mediocrity, insanity, blacklisted, bankruptcy, and lorekeeper.
After you do the tasks below, finish the game in order to get the certificate
Completion: Complete the game and salvage as many animatronics as possible.
Mediocrity: Be a lazy person and don't salvage any animatronics and don't buy anything in the store.
Insanity: Buy Egg Baby (data archive) and place him down. Go to any night and hold down the blue button (green if u hadn't bought the data archive) and press Z
Blacklisted: Get at least 9 lawsuits in total and fight all of them
Bankruptcy: Lose all your money due to a lawsuit costing too much money.
Lorekeeper: Do all the "lore minigames" such as Security Puppet, Midnight Motorist, and Fruit Maze. Security Puppet is easy, just do what the game tells you to do. For Midnight Motorist, at lap 4, there is a gap at the bottom. Go in the gap and do what the game tells you to do. You need to beat Fruit Maze three times in order to beat it. (This also gives you the Graveyard ending whenever you beat the game as Completion)
There are four different achievements, Trash and the Gang, Mediocre Melodies, Rockstars Assemble, and Posh Pizzeria
To get these achievements, you must get the Deluxe Concert Stage and the Star Curtain Stage and put all the animatronics below on the stage.
Trash and the Gang: Bucket Bob, (on the Star Curtain Stage) Mr. Can-Do, Mr. Hugs, No. 1 Crate, and Pan Stan (on the Deluxe Concert Stage)
Mediocre Melodies: Orville Elephant, (on the Star Curtain Stage) Happy Frog, Mr. Hippo, Nedd Bear, and Pigpatch (on the Deluxe Concert Stage)
Rockstars Assemble: Lefty, (on the Star Curtain Stage for no reason) Rockstar Freddy, Rockstar Bonnie, Rockstar Chica, and Rockstar Foxy (on the Deluxe Concert Stage)
Posh Pizzeria: Music Man, El Chip, and Funtime Chica (on the Deluxe Concert Stage)

Dan, make sure to use the audio when the animatronics are very near you, take them to the upper corners since they have to make lots of moves. Plus the fan makes sound so turn everything off when an animatronic is near.
If you salvage them they make your nights harder. If you throw them back in the alley you have nothing to bother you in your shift. Pro tip: Whenever you hear their laugh or them talk shine the light at them turn off the fan and the computer. And you can hear the crawling sound. The audio circle means how far the noise of the audio can reach. And don't forget this if you have 70° or under turn off the fan. Good Luck. Dan.

Safe Mode
This one has a near 100% chance of working, but settle down, this will be one LONG night. There is no use for the Audio tab on this method.
Step 1: As soon as the night starts, immediately shut off your Fan and turn on the Silent Ventilation. Then go to your tasks tab and go completing tasks. If you hear a sound cue, it probably means that an animatronic is about to kill you, so shut everything down and throw the flashlight at that spot. When possible, turn the PC back on but not the Fan as it'll impair your hearing, and repeat. Once the temperature hits 80-90º, proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Stop any tasks you might be doing, turn on your Fan, and go to the Motion Detector, and stay there, waiting for the place to cool down. If you see an animatronic approach, repel it and continue to let the place cool down. Once the temperature hits 75-60º, go back to step 1.
It's unlikely that you'll be jumpscared with this strategy once you get the hang of it. If you are, you either weren't fast enough, messed up something, or an animatronic sneaked up on you while you were doing step 1 and you didn't pay attention to its sound cue. (Or maybe Scott released some update to counter this strategy, lol.)
Now, to end this section, a few extra tips on how to survive:
*You can repel any animatronic by shutting off both the Fan and the PC and flashing the light at them until you can turn on the PC again.
*Upgrading your office's equipment through the Tasks tab can really save your life. Upgraded equipment makes less noise and works faster, so buy it as soon as possible to make the nights easier.
*The sound cues are very important. They're very specific; there's a cue for when they enter a nearby vent and for when they leave it, so you'll have to practice listening to the cues until you know which means what. It's recommendable that you wear headphones, as that will make it easier for you to know which side the cue is coming from.
*You'll certainly want to rage quit at some point, because this part of the game is really, REALLY hard if you have more than 1 animatronic trying to kill you; but don't give up. You'll eventually make up a more effective strategy for yourself if these ones don't work, and will ultimately get past the night. :smile:
*Note that the chance of an animatronic being after you on the 1st night is literally 0, unless you bought an item of inferior quality, which might make Springtrap go after you. But if you didn't, you can literally just do the tasks without checking anything on the 1st night, as no animatronics will be there.
*Remember the thing about ADs I mentioned earlier? Well, pal, if you accepted any ADs, you're gonna have a hard time during night. ADs will pop up randomly on your PC, making an incredible amount of noise and interrupting any tasks you might be doing.

DAN, if you have risk there is also a higher chance of a lawsuit if you salvage them successfully they will be in the nights also no matter what there will be one animatronic even if you don't salvage them plus there are multiple endings and they are slacker (no salvaging) there is the one where you salvage them all, i call it hard mode because its the harder path plus if you buys something with a liability risk ( and isn't on sale) you can buy upgrades that either lower or get rid of the liability risk. and thats all you should do good

Here's some tips about this game
1) even if u salvage them or throw them out they still come back to get u.
2) noise is bad real bad
3) do not accept sponsorships because it will slow It down even tho money will go up
4) watch carefully as if u buy a used item old or high risk it makes for a bad night/day
5) dont scream to loud it your mom will get mad.(lol)

Dan, the animatronics you salvaged are the ones trying to get you. The only way to stop the animatronics from becoming the ones in the vents are to chuck them back out into the alley. However the only way to get the 'true/good' ending is to salvage all the animatronics so that they are all in the vents by Saturday.
