      @Equalizing while Rising East Huge prayers that you get better soon . But I gotta ask why you would want to discuss your diagnosis with this particular Dr who has given a lot of mis information when there are more reliable resources available. I cant even imagine how you must be feeling or the fear you may be feeling but the CDC has lots of useful information and resources. Its seems that Dr Fauci and the many Drs who have taken his advice are the only ones being honest with the public and providing the best information. Again I hope & pray you are feeling better soon & that you get the information you are looking for. God Bless

    My mom has taken diluted apple cider vinegar everyday of her life and never been sick AND she is a chain smoker!!! ...Now she is 89! She truly believes in hygiene, cider vinegar, pooping daily, and a teaspoon of milk of magnesia daily (ugh) for magnesium (and pooping). She always lies to her doctor at her annual physicals about smoking and her doctor always comments how clear her lungs sound. She was in the medical field prior and said if you ever tell a doc if you smoke, they will blame all illnesses on smoking as its an easy diagnosis for all illnesses.. She is still going strong. Guess old medical folks know these little tricks to stay healthy.

      Homeless have 2 big factors in their favor against so-called "regular healthy people". They have more sun exposure (which is proven to reduce respiratory diseases) and they unintentionally fast intermittently, which regulates their metabolism. It was recently shown by studies that people with metabolic syndrome are at a higher risk.
      Now, I'm sure there could be some homeless that avoid sunlight and manage to eat more frequently would be at the same risk level as "regular healthy people".

      ! I've had covid 3 weeks now and I have not had a temp one time, lost all taste and smell, no chest pains but extremely tired. And it even has disturbed by cycle causing it to come early and I even developed a rash. Non of this is normal for me. Im definitely considered a healthy no risk person however ,I have symptoms most dont say. Had I not gotten blood work id never known I was positive. The swab was unconclusive. & the dont wear a mask is so not good advice, I never had a cough, a fever etc. This information is so disturbing.

One problem I see is that older people are taking so much prescription medication, most of which suppresses the immune system and creates an acidic bloodstream that virus "loves" to grow in. I never once had a fever, only had very mild symptoms. i live with my kids and they are totally fine, the day they called me about my results, i was loving on all my kids with hugs and kisses and we live in a small apartment, so very close quarters. i have recovered and am out of iso (alone in my bedroom), but still in quarantine, but back with my kids. it was stressful and scary, but The Lord brought me through and is watching over my kids too! I am so grateful that God is the great physician and he is bigger and greater than covid and although we don't know why this is happening, it is not his way for us to know all things. Adil Rizvi no, i didn't have all that. i only had body aches. a couple time I thought i was getting a fever, but it was only internal, cause i took my temp and it was never high. it was actually 97 degrees, which I have never had a temp below 98 in my life. so u should be ok. the tightness in your chest, i had a lot, more so towards the end of my seven days cause of anxiety and also, I think I did it to myself cuase (hyperventilation), just get as much fresh air as you can. walk around, stretch, don't just lie down and take it, yes get your rest, but force yourself to get up and do breathing excersises, sit in the sun. don't go outside unless u have a backyard of your own, away from others. if u live in an apartment like me, open your window and get fresh air and sun. leave the window open, so the air inside your home can circulate. one thing that really helped for me when my tightness became scary and painful, was taking a hot/cold shower. this is advice giving to me by my doctor and i confirmed with several nurses to. set your timer for 3-4 minutes and start with hot water (as hot as u can take it) for 30 seconds and then do 30 seconds cold water (turn off hot valve). keep alternating for 3 minutes. i did 4 minutes because I had to time myself and i gave myself extra time to jump in shower...this technique really helps tremendously, try it! I suggest just a call to your doctor, but they can't do anything for u, but suggest tylenol to battle the fever, that's what i was told. everything else u have to just wait it out. if you have a hard time breathing later..then u must call 911, cause that symptom can escalate really fast and u need to get help right away. do what i have suggested, u can beat this, just don't lie down and take it, be strong, u will get through this. i didn't have any of the other symptoms u said, but maybe those r only minor, just call your doctor or find out the public health covid19 hotline numbers in your area, they should have several, just google and they will help you navigate symptoms and hopefully monitor you. they are there to help you. call your doctor, if nothing else than to ease your mind. nothing can be done for covid19, but to let time pass and treat symptoms, the breathing difficulties is when u need help. this is what i have learned from watching lots of videos on youtube and talking to public health nurses who called me everyday to monitor my condition, cause i tested positive.

      Jojo77020 I’m not sure if they are new or not, but they definitely did not link it to my husband at all until they tested him for everything else under the sun. It was actually one nurse who said maybe it’s Covid? I watch Dr. John Campbell’s channel ( he releases a lot of statistics as the countries gather data) and he indicated that dizziness and confusion were present in 30 per cent of patients so I wish I had seen that sooner, we may have caught it sooner. He was working in Florida at the time so when they brought him back to Canada he was quarantined in a hotel that the fed govt took over, and that nurse indicated that it’s a rarer form but it’s presenting so differently in everyone they just cannot be sure if it’s ever Covid. So bizarre! I hope your friends husband is ok. My husband has never experienced anything so awful and he’s usually quite healthy. 😕

    @guymerritt4860 Před 4 lety +26

    I'm 68 and haven't had the seasonal flu once in about 30 years - did when I was younger but, for some reason, seemed to have an immunity to it without flu shots as I got older. Beginning on April 21st I had a painful earache and then I slept for two days, waking up with a fever of 101. Also, I woke up with an extraordinary pain in my sinuses, localized at one spot above my right eye. I've never had anything like it, before - the pain was like a kidney stone (which I've had, before). Also, the pain was so severe - and , apparently the swelling - that my vision was double - like, really bad double. Seriously, the pain was so severe I thought my head was going to explode. My vision was so bad I couldn't really see to walk to the bathroom. My wife called the hospital and they told me to come in as I might have Covid or be having a stroke. When I got there they didn't test me for Covid (zero tests of any kind - no blood work, x-rays, etc.), they did a very cursory exam, and said I had a standard sinus infection. They gave me four steroid pills, that was it. I've had lot of sinus infections and never had these kinds of symptoms. The swelling had apparently damaged the nerves around my eye - I dunno....two trips to the hospital and two to Urgent Care and they gave me no answers. I researched it on the web and nerve damage was all I could come up with. I couldn't walk up our stairs or even ride in a car for the first 10 to 14 days - just riding in the car made me nauseated my vision was so screwed up. I bought an eye patch to try to just look out of one eye. Very, very slowly my vision started getting better - one day, about seven weeks in, I realized it that it had returned to complete normal. I was beyond thankful. I never lost my sense of taste or smell, and only felt flu-like for a couple of days - but I've had lots of sinus infections and never had these kinds of symptoms. I think Covid can manifest in a lot of ways and I strongly suspect that this was Covid. I can tell you this: it was scary as hell - no one could tell me if my vision would ever return to normal and I never even got a firm, believable diagnosis. The second time I went to the hospital they did a CAT scan and blood work to confirm that I had not had a stroke and they also found that my sinuses were completely clear - even though my vision was still whacked. As I said, I was left to completely self-diagnose this vision thing using Google. I feel, as I've said, that this was something beyond a garden variety sinus infection. We're stumbling through this Covid thing pretty blindly, I feel. Good luck to us all, eh? Some symptoms are fairly universal but a lot of people have "weird", or unique, symptoms from what I've seen. I'd like to get an antibody test but that's like getting a ticket on the first public shuttle to Mars. We've got money and time for wars, but we can't get our shit together with this testing thing. I'm pretty disillusioned with the "greatest nation on earth" right now.

    • @guymerritt4860
      @guymerritt4860 Před 4 lety +2

      @Luke Yep. I just know that a lot of people who test positive (assuming the tests are accurate - and who knows?) seem to have wildly varying symptoms. Supposedly it does not effect the sinuses, much, but I did a search for "ear ache" and Covid and there was a long story in a Dallas paper, written by a nurse, who had an earache and painful sinuses - and she definitely had Covid 19 (well, she tested positive). As you said, reliable info on this thing is impossible to find - but, I do think that it's clear that this crap hits people in wildly varying ways. I'm 68 and I've had a lot of flu, sinus problems, etc - never had anything remotely like this. It was crazy - and terrifying. I couldn't see shit for about 3 weeks - we have a two-story house and I couldn't walk up the stairs for about 10 or 12 days my vision was so double. Riding in a car made me nauseated for 3 weeks without an eye patch. It healed 100%, but very slowly. What kind of sinus infection is that? It' certainly nothing I've ever experienced - or heard of, for that matter.
