While protesting is a right for Americans, what I don’t understand is why they feel so strongly about the way Israel is handling the war on Hamas, that they want to protest so violently on campus, when the U.S. is not at war with Hamas and don’t have a say so on how Israel runs it’s war on Hamas?
Why violently protest, when even if the U.S. condemned Israel’s actions, they couldn’t dictate what Israel does?
The U.S. has already called for a ceasefire. What else do they want?
Oh, and by the way, they never acknowledge what Hamas did to Israeli citizens.
To actually set up checkpoints on campus, as if they are the police, to see who is with or against them, and prevent people from moving about on campus, is absurd and violates the students rights to move freely. Yet, no campus police prevents this from happening?
What in the world is going on on these college campuses?
It reminds me of the Vietnam War protests on campus, only we’re not at war, a totally different country is. Smh. Unbelievable.

You're incorrectly calling these anti-war protests. These students support Hamas as shown by their failure to condemn this terrorist group. These students also don't ask for the hostages to be released. If Hamas was somehow winning this war you wouldn't be hearing anything from these students.
