An exercise that helped me relieve my guilt, shame, and self blame was saying out loud to my inner child,

These feelings of guilt, shame, and self blame were put INTO you and LEARNED. You don't have to identify with them, they are not YOU! Good luck to all your healing.

This is my second day coming back to this video to meditate with you guys.. At the end of it i found myself doing small comforting strokes to my other hand, thinking its going to be OK Lisa, you are trying your best. Being a bundle of trauma I have tried my best to handle the past, but it is catching up with me in the form of depression. And i think these videos are helpful (at least in the form of mediation and calming) at processing some feelings. I am not going to move past it, I am tackling it head on. Thank you btw!

I tried the "ohm meditation" (I don't know the proper term). In conventional therapy I learned about zen meditation as a means to separate myself from intrusive negative thoughts, but never heard about "ohm meditation". I tried it along with the video. It felt...different. Whereas, for me, zen helps me center myself and clear intrusive thoughts, the "ohm" helped me recenter my consciousness, if only for a moment. I saw someone in me who I could care about and who deserved good things. Someone who was worthy of love. I want to see that person again, to be that person. Thanks, Dr. Kanojia.

it actually made me as a grown man cry when dr k asked if sky was loved and he said "i dont know". maybe due to my circumstances too but its just so sad, since he seems a genuinely good person who is in a really terrible place in his life right now.
Dr.K,this was a purification-by-fire session for Sky and by far the most helpful one for him. Though we as outside viewers might have found this too painful (for empaths) , too grisly (for voyeurs)or lukewarm(intellectual voyeurs) compared to his second session , this was the most helpful for Sky.

I finished the whole video. This meditation was so powerful that I felt ... different afterwards. You can tell from Sky's reaction too that he felt the same way. Dr.K thank you so much for what you do. Your videos take me to a safe place in myself, don't know how else to say it. It's like I feel reassured in a way. Thank you again !

i hopee sky is better, i really enjoyed his videos when the whole LoL wave started. Also que has been through a lot of shit and i feel related despite not being sexually abused. There is a lot to learn and maybe our lives won't be fixed but we can try and do our best. Go Sky Go!

Damn i did the chant méditation. I was anxious to do it because there is my aunt in the appartment and i was afraid of being Heard doing this om sound. I did it anyway, felt self conscious, didnt quite give it my all but that's already something.

@@xXHotaroXx yeah I think part of why Dr K is so effective is because when things are hard for us to keep listening, he continues to listen and try to follow. Sky is talking about Harry Potter because he's trying to express that he has 0 ability to connect the ideas Dr K is bringing with reality. For us we're thinking "ok, so just take a minute and use your brain to connect them." Dr K realizes it's just not that simple.

i think dr k missed the mark a bit again, i think driving force behind manipulation is not necessarily fear, but maybe shame/embarrasment. (although embarrasment could be regarded as fear, shame is not, at least i dont think so, it's different.)
at least in the example he said about white-lying by saying he worked and played when actually only worked for 2minutes, usually the driving feeling for lying there is shame cuz he knows he done goofed.

I'm honestly angry.
If you have enough energy and problems to send a voicemail and not remember what you said when you have the opportunity that's absolutely pathetic. There are so many more people applied to their self growth that would cling to those thoughts and dive into them and would thrive with some consulting from Dr. Kanojia. And it's being completely wasted on someone who isn't committed.

@@sean8308 I don't accept that. If he left voicemails to a prestigious current day figure and then completely forgot their context, that's ludicrous and insanely rude.
This is probably the reason why he DOES need the help. Besides, I think Sky is pretty articulate and expressive which is very entertaining and easy to watch for me.
It was a voicemail he left while lying in bed trying to fall asleep. Most of his views in life got turned upside down. Fixing this stuff takes time. It may not be fast, but Sky is trying to fix things, as opposed to Destiny when he was on.
Get your finicky judgemental ass outta here. Dude was in the twilight zone between sleep and wakefulness, cut him some slack.
